I paid $80 for two custard cakes and was highly disappointed with their appearance when I picked them up. They had absolutely no toppings or decorations on the outside, simply plain white cool whip. When I ordered I stated that I didn’t want an edible image as I had my own cake topper, I never imagined there would be no cookie crumbs, sprinkles, etc. I feel like I’ve been taken advantage of. Now I have to go buy ingredients to make the cakes pretty, I’ll be out another $15-$20. ☹️

Arrived a C-sue 1840 hrs and they were busy. As always the custard was very good, the toppings were alittle short and the seating was limited. In short a bit more toppings and more picnic tables would be appreciated by all.

We were out of town and looked up local ice cream shop. So glad we went to check it out. Fantastic outside atmosphere with games and seating. The custard was absolutely delicious and the owner was very nice. Highly recommend and will drive 2 hours to go back.

C Sue's homemade frozen custard is one of the 2 best frozen custards I have ever had in my entire life! We stop every time we're passing through Salem. She does not add a bunch of chemical gunk to her small batches, which is important for me because I have a kazillion food allergies. It's so nice to be able to have a treat. And she is as sweet as can be! I am happy to support this woman-owned business.
