“Stopped here on way bk from southern IL we had been tiny town tripping. Starving. Walked in & ordered his special. Ribs..delicious. no smokey flavor. Sides were good sized and well prepared. Highly recommend”

“amazing food. homemade desserts! the banana bread was dense and the pumpkin bread had walnuts. lots of options for vegetarians. everything was super fresh. it's a very low key, comfortable atmosphere. service is good, friendly people. it's obvious that they take pride in what they make. most every Chinese food buffet I've been to, has the same, run of the mill, mostly frozen or premade food. NOT this place!!!! the Vietnamese rolls were awesome. the chicken, mushrooms, and zucchini were all obviously hand breaded and fried this place is an hour away from where I live, but I will be back!”

“REALLY good Mexican food in Salem! We were craving Mexican and being from south Texas, we’ve had some of the best Tex-Mex in the country. This place did not disappoint. I had the taco salad while my husband had the lunch special Vallarta Burrito which was huge and tasty! My taco salad was chock full of cheesy chicken and all the fixin’s. My kids loved the quesadilla and rice and beans, especially my 6 month old. Our waiter was fantastic and on point when it came to drink refills. We really enjoyed our meal!”

“Yes the sign and building are old but they are very clean and the food was cooked right in front of us and was hot and fresh. We are new in town and this is now our favorite lunch spot. I had bourbon chicken, fried rice and hot and sour soup. My chicken was so fresh and delicious I let my husband try it and he agreed. The fried rice had so much flavor. My husband had lo mein and he loved it. The lady at the counter was so nice and patient with us.”
