We took our young children (4&5) over the weekend. It was an amazing experience for all of us. Everyone was so friendly and service at the lodge was incredible! I HIGHLY recommend going if you're looking for a family-friendly spot to camp/fish!
The stay at Montauk Park was great. But the Lodge was VERY expensive on everything, and it was like they did not do upkeep on anything. The cabins are almost 250 a night now, and we're dingy looking. They had wallpaper peeling away from the wall. There was a butcher piece of hard plastic or something they used for a shower curtain. The power there went out twice while there for four days. There were no bugs in the cabins, but I don't know why not honestly. It looked...
Beautiful big shady walking trails,nice people wonderful place for kids to visit we went their for a meeting with 4-H club for a bar be que.
Then took the kids over to the trout hatchery
