amazing food. homemade desserts! the banana bread was dense and the pumpkin bread had walnuts. lots of options for vegetarians. everything was super fresh. it's a very low key, comfortable atmosphere. service is good, friendly people. it's obvious that they take pride in what they make. most every Chinese food buffet I've been to, has the same, run of the mill, mostly frozen or premade food. NOT this place!!!! the Vietnamese rolls were awesome. the chicken, mushrooms, and zucchini were all obviously hand breaded and fried this place is an hour away from where I live, but I will be back!
Wow!!!! Found this spot by chance. Oooo, buffet? Sure, let's try it! Well, right away, my husband and I were impressed. No, this is no frozen food, run of the mill Chinese food buffet. It was very obvious that nearly all of the food was homemade!
The food was fresh, the service was great, very friendly folks! Casual, cozy, comfortable atmosphere.
I normally don't eat dessert, but my husband sat down with a piece of banana cake and a piece of pumpkin bread, and immediately I knew it was homemade. I had to get my own! The banana bread was rich and dense. The pumpkin bread had walnuts.
The Vietnamese rolls were great, really crispy. Breaded fried zucchini, hand battered fried mushrooms, the cabbage and garlic was yummy.
My only complaint is that we don't live closer!
I highly recommend you try this place. Be sure you arrive with an empty stomach, because you're going to want to take a tast of everything they offer!!!
I can't say enough great things about this place. I will definitely be making special trips to go back, even if it's an hour drive from where I live.

We got take-out tonight. It wasn’t very good, in my opinion. We got chicken lo mein, chicken was tough and chewy. The sweet and sour chicken tasted like old cooking oil, and wasn’t sauced, we had to use the sweet sauce from crab Rangoon on the chicken. Then the fried rice wasn’t fried, it was regular white rice with some vegetables added.
Overall, not the best we’ve had, may not order again from there.

The food was the worst I've had at any buffet in the country. The place is supposed to be open until 9pm, but after driving 45 minutes to get there it was 7pm and the food was already cold, and or dried out.
Bottom line the food quality was poor, and the health department in Salem must not frequent the place. I would most definitely not recommend this place to anyone ever !!

Delicious buffet, wonderful people they'll tell you all about the chinese culture. If you care to ask. I enjoy myself when I go in and have conversation with the owners and their family. It is a family owned business. And they are beautiful people, delicious food.Enjoy yourself

I really don't like buffets as a rule, hence the 4 stars instead of 5, but it's what my husband likes, so I end up eating at more of them than I care to.
That being said, this place makes pretty dang good food. I think my favorite was the saffron/tumeric noodles. The people who work there know all the regulars by name, and that's how I know I will find some pretty decent food no matter where I go. Always go where the locals go. Service was top notch. If you like a good Chinese buffet more than I do you will not be disappointed!
