Absolutely wonderful experience! The waitress was so sweet and helpful, Lovely atmosphere and excellent service, The food was all delicious and fresh. Definitely made from good quality ingredients, you can just tell. Very home-made taste. Definitely recommend the apple pie! And anything else on the menu. :) Only wish I lived close enough to stop in again sometime. I'd give six stars if I could.
We were looking for some comfort food along our route and decided to give this place a try. The cinnamon french toast was delightful. My husband had the chicken fried steak. He's very picky about this dish and, while it wasn't his favorite of all time or anything, he did like it. Great everytime we're up there from STL! Call ahead if you're heart is set on fried mushrooms.Good breakfast, good sandwiches, soup, and sides. Favorite for me is Chicken Fried Steak (for winter time).Even great smiles and country manners!
