Very good homemade food, reminded me of the meatloaf I grew up with, well seasoned and it was a nice big serving, I’m full , had to get dessert to go

I’ve grown up on Susie’s and I have to say, it has not changed at all throughout the years. Delicious food, friendly service, and a beautiful atmosphere. My family will always support this local business. ❤️

Passed through town on our way home to Tennessee and stopped for lunch and a slice of coconut cream pie. Generous portions, delicious homemade sandwich bread and rolls, and the pie was excellent!

A very small bakery and sandwich shop with great home-cooked food. Limited menu with about 10 daily specials. I had a grilled chicken spinach strawberry salad with strawberry poppy seed dressing that was great. It also came with a cloverleaf roll that was fresh out of the oven and was to die for. Since it is a bakery too, I had to have a piece of cake for dessert. I had a piece Strawberry cake that was absolutely fabulous and definitely worth the price.

Susie's bakery is an exceptional establishment that I had the pleasure of visiting during a recent business trip. Despite arriving late on my first day, I was fortunate enough to sample some of her delectable baked goods. The following day, I returned for lunch and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food. Susie's passion for cooking is evident in every dish she creates, and her hard work and dedication are evident in the support she receives from the local community. This is a small gem of the Sikeston area. We order all of our birthday cakes from them because they are beautiful and taste great. Prices are a touch high but not unreasonable. Every time I go in there to pick up a cake, there is always a small group of older people sitting at the tables having coffee and talking about sports. The other sweets in the displays look very good. Its just a warm feeling place to step into and grab a sweet snack or sit down for a sandwich or soup.

After seeing commercials on TV about this place we made a trip to Sikeston. Neat little bakery/ restaurant in downtown Sikeston. The ladies said they have been in business for 30 plus years. After sitting down they brought out a basket of yeast rolls. I had a bowl of chicken and dumplings. I can't say they were as good as my mom's but they were good. My wife had the grilled chicken salad and said it was very good. Since it was my birthday they treated me to a piece of strawberry cake. Overall a very nice little restaurant / bakery.

January 20th, 2024Enjoyed a delicious lunch. Friendly service. Fabulous selection of baked goods, you really MUST go in to see, I can never leave with just one! Hands down the best cakes ? around.

Me and my mom stopped in to eat, their chicken and dumplings was very good! I also had a cup of coffee and berry cobbler that was really good. Great place 👍🏼
