Great food in a very interesting environment. The thrower rolls are great tasting and the way they are served is amazing.

Turner our server and Shaun the server who gave us the pass arounds were both so nice. As was the guy who did the Apple butter and sorghum molasses. The young lady at the gift shop also. Food here was good and the portions here are huge. Great place to stop. Very cool pit stop.

Had the chicken pot pie with cornbread and pineapple walnut salad. Tried the fried potatoes, black beans, and okra as pass arounds. The tossed rolls with apple butter were fabulous, service was acceptable for how busy they were and the atmosphere was what it was expected to be.

I'll never order the slab of ribs again. They were so tough that it affected the whole experience in a very negative way. There was very little meat that was chewable on the bones. I was very disappointed because I had always had a very good meal here. Beyond the tough ribs I loved the mashed potatoes and candied yam. I caught 2 throwed rolls and drowned them in Sorghum. Four people ate for $80.

Got off the freeway and drove through town and literally into another county to have them closed when both the front door and google says they are open. Had a lady from the smoke shop next door that they would be open tomorrow. Ill think about that when im 500 miles down the road.

Great food at a decent price, you won't leave this place still hungry. Extra large portions and free pass around, oh and rolls until you're sick of them

Lamberts is high on the list of "Fun Places To Fly". We flew into Sikeston Municipal Airport and called Lambert's and requested the shuttle to pick us up. A van came to get us and a family of 4 that flew in from Chicago. We were picked up by the manager of Lambert's who was very pleasant. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were brought right to a table. When we walked in, we noticed that you raise your hand and servers throw rolls to you. The rolls come out hot from the oven and then thrown until all gone. The rolls were HUGE! After ordering and waiting for our food, we offered complimentary okra, black eye peas, sliced potatoes and macaroni with tomatoes. We were offered these options multiple times. When our orders came out, catfish and chicken pot pie, our portions were larger than expected. Needless to say, we had leftovers. We will def be back!

Every time we come here everyone is friendly. The food comes out fast. It does get busy and loud we always enjoy it.

Overpriced and slow service. Not worth your time or money. There are plenty of better places in the area!

Oh Lamberts, how far you have fallen. The food here used to be absolutely amazing. We always made it a point to plan our trip from North to South to ensure we could include a meal there. My husband used to LOVE the chicken and dumplings, I was always a big fan of the fried potatoes and onions and of course we all loved catching the rolls! Sadly this is no longer the case. The last few trips we have still included a stop at your restaurant, however I am certain tonight was our last. The food quality has significantly declined from amazing Southern cuisine to hospital cafeteria quality. The time before today's trip we were disappointed, but were hoping it was just a fluke. My pot roast was not even edible tonight. My husband ate his customary chicken and dumplings, but didn't even finish. The service, as always, was great! The guys that were tossing rolls and dishing out fried okra had a great energy and did an outstanding job working the crowd of diners. Unfortunately, it's just not enough for us anymore, which is very disappointing for my family. We always looked forward to this stop on our travels. I hope you guys get it figured out.

It's a common stop for me going to and from Memphis. If you leave hungry then there is something wrong w/ you. Great portions and a vast menu. The fried potatoes and onions that are part of the free pass arounds are excellent. And can't go wrong w/ the rolls. Very good and tasty. They go well w/ plain butter or apple butter. Definitely stop by if you are ever in the area

The heavily advertised restaurant and reputation of "throwed " rolls is a one time experience only! Strolling waiters dole out bottomless okra, stewed green beans etc that all have mediocre flavor The servers were attentive but had to work hard to make up for the below average quality food It's easy to fill up on those flying rolls....probably the best item on the menu Keep your expectations down on good tasting food and duck as needed to avoid a collision with a hot bread missile !

It lives up to the hype- a bit of a wait to get seated- but it's worth it. Giant portions, you're going to be taking stuff home.
