Really surprised by the Philly and fries we shared. We haven’t eaten on the dock for a while because our last outing (last year) wasn’t that good. We expect to include Between the Buoys on more of our lake trips in the future.

Had a great time, hot day but the breeze off the lake made for a very comfortable spot. Food was good and so were the drinks. There was a band playing and everyone had a great time. The girl at the window to buy drinks was very nice. They don’t do table service, you order at a window but it comes out pretty quick and is good.

Directly on the water/dock. The portions were large, the wraps were good. We ordered 2 wraps, 1 side of fries, 1 beer, and 1 Paloma and it was $42. Quick service. Plenty of seating during the time we were there. Live music. I would definitely return. We did pay $7 to enter the marina area, plenty of parking.
Love their food and drink options! The chili cheese hotdog is PHENOMENAL paired with a prickly pair margarita 😉 Definitely recommend for an evening lakefront meal!

Between The Buoys was an excellent addition to our summer fun out on Smithville Lake. The food was delicious (loved the chicken quesadillas and the brisket fries), portions were very generous and the service was top notch. Cashiers were always friendly and enthusiastic. An added bonus was the live music each weekend that added to the fun atmosphere. I’m already looking forward to next summer!!
