Food was excellant and service was friendly. Good combination.
Great place to grab a bite to eat. Get the pork tenderloin it was awesome. Bring your art skills because you can draw on all the tables! Then hang up your art work.
Chop’s has some of the best BBQ in town. Great beans, great brisket, great pork. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
Chop’s BBQ & Catering serves up delicious food with a side of hometown pride. The BBQ is always flavorful and cooked to perfection, and their catering is top-notch for any event. What really sets them apart is the owners—they’re incredibly involved in the community and genuinely care about giving back. Great food, great people, and a true local gem!
They gave us free fries when we were loud, we love you
This place was amazing they gave me me and my bestie Memphis vip membership and the front counter lady was really nice with black converse and the waiter guy was super nice once we got free fries but they any more sadly :(
My family and I went here for Mother's Day. We had a large table of 10. We called ahead to make sure there was an open table and let them know a large group was coming. They were very accommodating. The service was good and the food is always amazing! We'll definitely be back!
Online shows they close at 9. Made an order at 8:10. Got called and told the kitchen was completely shut down and could not get food.
Terrible management.
The best place on the planet . No kidding .

Chops BBQ in Smithville is a charming spot with great food and a lot of personality. We started with the onion rings, which were perfectly crispy and absolutely delicious. For the main courses, my wife had the pit ham platter with cheesy potatoes and fried okra—both sides were flavorful and complemented the tender ham well. I had the brisket wrap with fries, and it was a satisfying, hearty choice.
The unique decor adds a lot to the experience. The walls are covered in paper tablecloths colored by diners, with hundreds of creative designs adding a fun, personal touch. The restaurant's front is proudly lined with BBQ competition trophies, showcasing its award-winning pedigree. Chops BBQ offers a great meal in a quirky, inviting atmosphere—definitely worth a visit!

Decent lunch spot, but it's definitely on the expensive side 20 bucks for a sandwich, one side, and a drink. I had the pulled pork sandwich because they were out of burnt ends, and it was good, very juicy I also enjoyed the spicy bbq sauce I'd eat here again it's just a bit pricy

Great little bbq joint. My fiancé had a house salad with homemade ranch dressing, which was amazing. And the brisket wich was extremely tender. I had the pulled pork sandwich with the extra house bbq sauce. 😋
