Paradise Ice Cream Parlor

We walked over after dinner at Captain’s Corner and stumbled upon this cute little ice cream shop—what a treat! The ice cream was delicious, with plenty of flavor options and generous portions.

But the best part? As a little girl, I always dreamed of being Barbie—and this place made that dream come true! Such a fun, whimsical vibe that brought out my inner child. A perfect way to end the evening. Can’t wait to go back!

Great hidden gem. It was about an hour before the place was open. The owner was cooking at Captains Corner but decided to let me and my wife in so we could get Ice Cream. Great friendly place and great thick and rich Ice Cream

This place is hands down one of the best ice cream places I've been to. The ice cream is tasty and has decent size servings. The staff are extremely helpful and very polite. The inside is very original and a great place to gather with family and friends! Highly recommend for a good place to have ice cream!

This is a must ice cream shop if you ever go to Smithville Missouri! Only a few minutes away on the way to Smithville Lake. From the 1950's cool decor to delicious ice cream that is so yummy that you'll be wanting more! Will definitely be traveling to Paradise for the best ice cream!!

I have visited 5 times, and each time I’m reminded why they have the best ice cream around Kansas City. ( Both grandparents say it was the best they have had as well.) They have the best flavors and the staff is always friendly, and attentive. The atmosphere is great, and there is so much to walk around and look at. We will be back for more with the rest of the family members.
