Flame is a wonderful place to take guests for consistent high quality steaks. The place is always busy and frequented by the Springfield business community. My guest from the UK was impressed thoroughly.

There is one notable steak house is Springfield MO and that is Flame. This is a quality stake focused restaurant that is not going to disappoint. I recommend the bone in Filet or the bone in Ribeye. You'll have a great meal and great service from the moment you walk in until you are ready to leave.

We enjoyed an excellent meal and great service at Flame Steakhouse. We highly recommend the downstairs Wine Bar as well; great drinks and friendly staff.

The best steakhouse restaurant in the town. Nice place for a dinner with your loved one or for a special occasion.

The food is expensive and two of us had filets...one cooked perfectly the other one charcoaled and dry. The twice baked potatoes were so hard you couldn't even get a fork in them and the peel was burnt black. Told the waiter and he basically ignored us. I won't be going back. One person had the salmon which was good and another had the ribeye which was good but not amazing. Have had better steaks at Texas Road House for half the price. The atmosphere is nice and they did provide free dessert to the birthday person.

We were impressed with everything about the place. The atmosphere was beautiful. The wait staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and timely. The food was outstanding; we ordered several items from the menu and were highly impressed with each one. Definitely a high-dollar dinner, but they certainly earned it. We will be returning.

We had a very enjoyable evening. Good food and service. A very knowledgeable waiter that was very helpful. We started with the salmon and crab dip which was warm and cheesy and very good. I had the filet medallions with au poivre sauce and lyonnaise potatos. My steak was cooked perfectly as well as my husbands who had the ribeye and the candied bacon and cheddar mash. Those were our favorite. We ordered 2 sides to share although we didn't need it we had creamed spinach and lobster mac and cheese. We enjoyed this with a bottle of wine. It was a very relaxing meal. We had plenty left to take home and enjoyed lunch the next day. We chose the strawberries and cheesecake bites. They were on sticks and a little hard to eat but yummy dipped in the chocolate mousse that was served with it. A special place to go to celebrate or date night.

Started off with martini's, then ordered a bottle of wine and that's were it went downhill!!! The first bottle I order took 30 minutes for them to tell me they didn't have it. Order two other bottles to ensure hopefully they had one of the 2. It took another 30 minutes to receive the 2nd bottle. Our group was wondering what was taking so long. We started to joke they must are having it flown in from Napa. You'd think with the extra premium prices they are charging the wine service would be top notice. As you can guess the 3rd bottle never showed up nor were we ever told that no one could find it, we were left wondering if it was coming to the table. Our server said the manager was suppose to come over and talk to us, but as you can expect that never happened either. I felt bad for our server who the manager put this misfortune on. No presence of the management, no apologies from the management, nothing was offered for our HOUR wait, The server was amazing, the food was good, but the experience was horrible. If you decide to eat there be sure to BRING YOUR WINE so your not tangled in their disorganized web of a wine program.

food was great, service was great and helpful, large selection of wine and atmosphere was really good . it cost a pretty penny but worth it.
