Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Springfield

I frequent this movie theater. Couple times a month with my friends. They have forever lost my business. We will never be back. The manager was kind when we spoke to her, but we will not be back. 30 minutes into the movie they asked us to leave because they claim we were late to the movie. The movie hadn't started when we walked into the theater. They insisted we leave anyway 30 minutes into the movie. My friends and I will find a new hang out spot and spend our money elsewhere.

WOWZA! I went to the Alamo for the first time for a charity event and I was blown away. The chairs were comfy, the food was delicious, the theatre WAS NOT COLD, and to top it all off Grace was a kind angel who stepped in when the billing system got a little funny with my card. I only go out when there's something I need to see (maybe 2x a year) but thanks to Grace I'm already planning to go back for Christmas

This is my family's favorite place to see movies! We love the popcorn!

EXPENSIVE!

Me and my friend just walked into the Alamo restaurant and was walking down the hall. I whistled, and one of their waitresses took offense to it, and they kicked me out of the theater. I didn’t mean to whistle to be offensive in any way I was just making comments to my friends and it wasn’t about any particular waitress. We were just having a good time and wanted to have a good time watching a show then the managers who just kicked us out.

This is ridiculous incase you didn't know they charge you a 18% Service fee on any orders so my 9 dollar shake went up to 12 dollars i will never tip a place that charges a mandatory 18% service fee and doesn't inform you of that just slips it in before the movie trying to justify it thats sad and wrong and when asking a manager why they would do that makes it harder to tip they said well we haven’t seen a drop in tipping so not are problem i hope people see this and stop tipping so they do see the drop and change this and management

I love this theatre. Since I live in SD I'm used to Ludacris prices but awful theatre quality. This place is priced crazy high but it is WORTH IT. and they value the movie watching experience as well as good food so it's 100% worth the price hike. I'm coming here every vacation because I love it here.

Awesome time

Extremely awesome staff! Took my grandson for the 1st time and we will make the 30 minute drive just for the experience!

Very disrespectful staff and manager. Jake (manager) didn’t let my friend walk in for being 20 min into the movie. our whole friend group had to leave. We weren’t being disruptive, and showed respect to let our friend in. Their excuse to not letting him in is because he would cause a disturbance to the movie and waiters. All 8 of my friends had to get up and leave because of this situation. Being late into a movie while having a purchased ticket should never be a problem at a movie theater!

Extremely overpriced. Plus I payed for stuff I didn't order but went ahead and signed the ticket cause it was to dark to see. However the waitress was very nice.

We thoroughly enjoyed watching a movie here. The seats were comfortable and it was nice to food and treats delivered right to you in the movie theater.

I usually have a good time here, but this time was poor all across the board with the exception of the food and cleanliness.
Bought tickets for what was supposed to be a double feature, which wasn't. When we talked to the manager we showed the tickets on our phone we bought that said double feature she said oh hold on and when she reappeared the double feature had magically disappeared. Hmmm
And the service in both the bar and theater were terrible. In the bar we sat with empty glasses for close to 30 minutes when I went and asked for a refill.
Took 20minutes to get just a water and sprite in the theater, had our popcorn in 5.
Good thing We didn't buy the VIP membership.

Comfy seats. Professional and friendly staff. Great food variety. Can't ask for a better place to watch a movie.
