Applebee's Grill + Bar

First time i have ever had to order twice at any restaurant, and then after waiting all that time had to go find another waiter to get the silverware.

We visited this location on a Monday and it was not very busy but it still took 40 minutes for our food to be made and the waiter was nice but was slow and would disappear for 10 minutes not on the floor at all. After waiting another 15 minutes for to go boxes and checks we had a different server help us since our waiter disappeared again after giving us the checks.

Had a horrible experience this afternoon, which is unfortunate being that it was my anniversary and we came here because it’s normally really good and pretty cheap! We had TWO servers on a day that was rather slow other than having one big party. We were first served a soda with no syrup in it, no big deal we got it switched out. It then took 20+ minutes for our appetizer alone to come out. When our meals arrived they were not what we ordered (medium rare steak made well done nearly burnt and honey pepper mac and cheese with no sauce on the chicken?) which AGAIN would be no big deal if someone would have checked on us a few minutes after we received our meal to check if everything was ok. They did not. We asked for sauce for my food and were given the wrong one twice. They in fact did not make their way to any table near us. We waited for 20 minutes before seeing one of our servers. Then she proceeded to not come back over again. We will not be back. I didn’t catch her name but she was working with Xavier who seemed to be doing all the work for her. He was not only serving a huge party of people but bussing every table in that section. So I understand why he couldn’t make it over to us. It was the girl who was the issue.

2 for $25 got the steak for $3.50 and it was good, the Hot Honey tenders with Mac&Cheese for $3.50 was horrible.The breadstick was larger than the tenders, the tenders were frozen from a box not worth $3.50 upcharge. They were 3 small tenders, no chicken, mostly breading.

Very poor experience today for lunch. I would like to give zero stars. The drinks were slow too get to us and we were never offered refills. We got all of our food (there were 6 of us) at different times yet all of it was cold. One person has the prime rib sandwich . It was all cold and the dipping sauce was completely separated and beginning to congeal. Needless to say that meal was refused and the others were barely eaten. The fifth meal came after the first 4 of us had ate what little we were going to. I left and the final person in our group had still not even received their meal. The manager did comp our meals and gave us a gift certificate to eat there again but it's not an experience I care to repeat

This would be a 0 stars if I could. 1st it was over 1 hr before the 1st food came out after hearing the cook forgot out hamburgers... we told them to send what they had done, no surprise it was cold to the point that the fat started to solidify on top of the au jus for my brother's prime rib dip, he sent it back and left the restaurant. 20 min later I got my burger but my cold fries were inedible. My wife still had not got her burger... my Mom left at this time (done waiting and said she will have to stop at McDonald's cause she couldn't eat her cold food) . I finished my burger as they sent my wifes burger to the table. We started out with 6 ppl and ended with 2... embarrassing experience for the waitress (she was about in tears even though we told her we knew it was not her fault) it was because of the kitchens ineptitude. I feel sorry for the wait staff and management playing damage control.

We got there before the dinner rush ordered our appetizer and our entrees. Waited about 30 mins my wife ordered no onions of course it came out with onions, my meal was ice cold and didn't get out appetizers. So I told my wife go pay for our drinks and we are going somewhere else I'm not paying for COLD FOOD. Ofcourse manager comes out wife explains the excuse was your server is new. Ok but getting Ice cold food is not the servers fault that would be a kitchen problem. Offered us free appetizers coupons in which my wife refused and told her we wouldn't be needing them we will never eat Applebee's again in Springfield.So now regardless where you go it's a minimum of 45 min wait. Ugh we just wanted a good hot meal before opening day of hunting.

The manager’s attitude, tone and customer service was horrible.

Sat at the bar to get their new holiday drinks to-go to try. (Mind you there were only 2 people sitting at the bar including myself and maybe 2 other tables) One of the servers took my order then proceeded to go in the kitchen and was never saw again and never rang in my order. So that left me sitting at the bar for about 20 minutes before someone else actually rang in my order. And by that time my friend that was waiting on me decided to just come wait inside with me since it was taking so long.
The server then proceeded to come back and tell me that she wasn’t going to serve me because I ordered multiple drinks and she assumed I was going to give them to my friend ( she is not of age). So I ask if I can just order one since I had been waiting so long (had been waiting for about 40 minutes by this time) and they still would not serve me under that assumption. So, I proceeded to ask if they would serve me if I was to just come back later by myself because I wanted to try the new drinks. In which the manager proceeded to get rude and snappy and tell me that they have the right to refuse service to anyone and they were not going to serve me even if I was to come back. So I HIGHLY recommend to not go there, wasted my time!!

Horrible time today. Waiting to get sat no welcome just a follow me. We get sat no one takes our drink order we sit and sit. Raven finally come to our table no welcome again “what do you guys wanna drink” thats it. Bring back water doesn’t say anything and walks away. We were ready to order considering we had sat there going on 20 mins. We order two meals and a appetizer. We wait again ever thing come out at once we dont want the cold app now send it back. Pasta is already hardening and my fiesta chicken came with a rotten lime and cold rice. Server said it was late because her new manager wont let her take plates out?? Did i also mention we got no silverware and waited while our server stood at that bar chitchating. Wish we would have just left also gnats everywhere and all over food seen in photo

Waitress did her best we sat for over 45 min waiting on food . You can not blame a waitress for bad service when it's the kitchens fault.
