Ariake Sushi & Robata

Enjoyed a variety of Nigiri! The freshest I’ve ever had in this area! The fish literally melted in my mouth! Wagu A5 hot rocks was pretty amazing as well! We also enjoyed a Tokyo sunrise, forest of ariake, and a lychee martini! Each cocktail was well made! It was a lovely dinner. Can’t wait to come back.

A coworker and I went here for lunch. It was my first experience at this place, and it was a great one! The waitress was fantastic, the atmosphere is really cool, and the food was delicious. I got the kimchi fried rice and it was so flavorful! There were several other things on the menu that sounded delicious, so I'm sure you can't go wrong, and I'll be going back to try more!

WOW! After spending most of my adult life traveling and enjoying great food, I never thought I would find such a gem like this in Springfield, MO. The atmosphere, quality, freshness, selection of everything was plucked from Miami, NY, or LA. Mind blown. Bravo, hands down one of the greatest dining experiences of my life. We can't wait to go back.

We had an incredible experience! I made a reservation weeks in advance for our anniversary, and on the day of, I called before opening in hopes of arranging a special surprise. I wanted to drop off a bouquet of flowers to have ready on our table. The woman I spoke with was incredibly helpful and even allowed me to choose our table for the evening. The food was outstanding—the seabass was absolutely perfect. We’ve decided to make this our go-to anniversary destination every year. Thank you for making our celebration so special!

If you're reading reviews to decide if you wanna eat here or not. Do it. Easily one of the best places I've dined at. Nice to have a great option in Springfield. Atmosphere is wonderful will make the coldest heart feel a little romantic or not if that's not that you want. You can be cool instead. Food is fantastic for real and the staff had great energy. The place just has the perfect balance of upscale and gourmet. Not trying too hard it's just plain art.

I would definitely talk to Terry she is amazing at guest experience. I ended up having my first scalloped and flounder ever here. I have never ate anything from the sea before and it was amazing. The spices and seasoning complemented the dish extraordinarily well. Also do not forget to try their Asahi "Super Dry" beer as it goes down like water. I never thought I would find a restaurant like this in Springfield.

The mood is intimate and perfect for a special evening out. I loved the decor and atmosphere!

The food is on the pricey side but man is it worth it. We have eaten great food all over the US. This place is memorable and we'll be back!

As for what to order, I don't think they have a bad dish on their menu. The seabass was amazing! The filet robata!! The scallops and salmon and the desserts ? love a bold menu!

The only negative was that our waiter, as nice as he was, wasn't a great waiter. I am not sure if he is new, or what. But he was just a little awkward and didn't understand pacing. I do think it was a fluke based off the servers around us.

Overall, fantastic and a must try!!

I'm comin back for that wagyu!!

Fantastic! The waiter Raffael was amazing and attentive and the I believe manager Terri/Terry (I’m not sure) was also extremely helpful considering it was our first time here. They took the time and explained the menu as well as gave us options on what we should try. Overall fantastic experience!

First time eating here and felt like an adventure! We had a cold tasting dish recommended by our waiter, Logan. He also made sushi suggestions. Everything was unique and delicious! The seabass was the best we've all ever had. Can't wait to go back next time I'm in town!

Kid-friendliness: We had a 7 month old with us for dinner and felt very comfortable. They had room for the stroller and highchair and we weren't encroaching on anyone else.
