I ordered this food to go for my husband and I, and had hoped that the food was good because everyone raved about this place. But sadly it was avenge at best we ordered the classic breakfast and the crepe Benedict with two side (French onion soup and grit with cheese and bacon). French onion “soup” had no soup cause the bread soaked up all the liquid and the cheese had melted to a hard plastic. If the owner is reading this I suggest placing the bread separately to avoid this...
The reason for the 3 stars is not the food, or service. Once seated (50 minute wait) the service was on point! We sat in the back and it was pretty warm, every one of us commented about being hot. Let me address the TIP! We had a party of 9, the bills were divided 3 ways. I didn’t look at the bill too closely but it was $99 for 4 of us, and we all had water. A must-visit when we're in Springfield. Absolutely can't get enough of the wildflower-cottage vibe, the friendly staff, and the fresh, fluffy crepes. Love being able to join the waiting list online.
