After reading reviews, we thought we would try this place out. Italian is my husband favorite, right after a good rare steak . We arrived at 6:30 on a Friday night , waited lil over an hour . After being seated, we ordered toasted ravioli, it was barely warm an honestly TGI Fridays frozen ravioli is just as good . The marina sauce was cold an watery . We ordered Zeti with meatballs only to be told they were out of meatballs . Went to second choice , waitress brought out bread that was cold and nothing special , Fazolis wins that contest hands down . Butter was straight out of the fridge . 10 mins later waitress returns only to tell us they were out of our 2nd choice as well . First time in 56 years we paid for our appetizer an left the restaurant. Will never go back . Atmosphere was very loud an decorated from a garbage sale not upscale one . Waitress however was very friendly and we tipped her well .
Thanks for the excellent catering order yesterday. It was delicious! We always have excellent food and service here. Just wish they gave a Veterans discount.
Bambinos on Battlefield is a quiet luxury in the middle of a quaint shopping center. Stepping inside the restaurant, a guest is transported from Springfield, Missouri to a charming Italian village with aromas of delicious home-cooking and the sound of laughing voices all around. The food, of course, is also marvelous.

Very good Italian restaurant. Gluten free noodles were really good. Salads were huge and fresh and delicious. Wait staff was very professional, friendly, and efficient.

I got the chicken asparagus and tomatoes and im not joking when I say I got three baby tomatoes and 3 individual pieces of asparagus with the tinniest chicken breast known to man for $15. Actually Horrible!
Great little place. Great lunch specials. Great prices anytime

Overall great value for the cost. I’m from an area that has lots of wonderful choices for food - so this was hard for me. The food was good but not great.
The bruschetta was served more like a soup - definitely not what I was used too. It had a good flavor but more on the bland side. It lacked garlic - which I LOVE - so I did add the fresh chopped garlic they served on the table - but of course, didn’t give the garlic time to infuse with the remaining ingredients.
I had The Poppa and they made adaptions - I love the spicy sauce - they swapped the sausage for chicken for me and added spinach. The pasta was definitely overcooked - as you can see I like my pasta less soft. They definitely give you healthy serving sizes. It was enough for me to eat 5 times on.
My son and his wife enjoyed their dishes a lot and the kids ate all their Alfredo and spaghetti with meat sauce.
Overall a good experience - I just like more flavor. I’ve been to Italy and eaten many different dishes there - so I do know they can cook!

We looked around for a good eatery in Springfield. This one was rated well. It is a bit hidden away from the main eateries in town. It did not disappoint. Wow. We were already talking about what we will try when we come back. So yes this is a reasonably priced nice Italian Restaurant.
Vegetarian options: A couple of items were vegetarian but not marked

Don't understand why online ordering is always down now. Food is good but don't want to sit down in a restaurant.
