We’ve been going to Banter since they first opened, and they just keep getting better. Great beer, friendly staff, clean bathrooms, and they hold fun events and music from time to time. Great neighborhood bar. They also serve wine which my non-beer drinking friends really enjoy!

Stopped in yesterday after a movie at Alamo Drafthouse. Banter has really really good beer! And I don't just mean one. Their beers are good across the board. Enjoyed our stop there very much.
I'm giving a 5 because the beer is very good. Unique and well executed spins on brew pub standards. On beer alone..I suggest a visit to this place. Great brewery to start a brew-pub crawl to sample Springfield's better brews.

A year ago Banter Brewing contact us on our craft beer page about coming in and we didn't have time on that trip. This time we made sure to stop in. We stopped in after going to Back Home Brewery. This place was night and day 100% better than Back Home. Banter has some delicious hazy IPAs to pick from. They also had a nice variety of other beer choices but the IPAs were calling my name. It sounded like that was the head brewer's specialty. The one I went with was absolutely delicious called the Iron Gospel. Great beer! the gentleman working the counter was also awesome and good patrons. Great conversation with some fun people. We will be back on our next trip back to the Springfield area.
