Went in at 8:10pm. The two hostesses argued about who was going to have to talk to us. One finally walked to the host stand and said it’s a 15 minute wait. Note I counted 7 tables open. I said ok, gave my name, and sat down. Kitchen staff proceeded to walk out and talk to the two girls and the one explained I told her 15 minutes and then she said she would wait. The staff grunted like it was an issue that we wanted to eat. They clearly were too worried about closing in an hour then to seat a repeat customer. I literally order from here weekly. I will never return.

We stopped in a little over a month ago. The menu prices had changed, but that was disclosed on the website, when we booked the table, before or after we were sat. Based off of principle, I asked if they could honor the price we saw and were under the impression of. We were told no, and basically to kick rocks. I sent an email right after to the main email, requesting follow up, and no one ever reached back out. On that note, I went to KPOT last night, and the food, service and atmosphere were 100 times better. Thank you Bawi for your dishonesty and lack of response for a complaint, probably wouldn’t have tried the new spot had you cared about customer satisfaction. Anywho, I’m done with Bawi, the other restaurant offers better food quality, options and more sides and sauces for the same price. I see Bawi taking a nose dive here in the next 6 months.

2.5 stars. It was below for the price. We didn't like the taste as much as other Korean BBQs we've been to in Kansas City and St. Louis. It's also very slow, which is probably intentional to control how much you order. Nonetheless, we were there probably 15 minutes before any food was brought out (uncooked) and probably 20+ minutes after we were done before we got the bill.

Place is great, family always go and awesome food. Only gripe I have is when did they automatically start charging tips? Went in friday with the wife and 2 kids and when I went to pay bill it automatically had tips added to my bill. I didnt question it but would of been nice to know about before hand. Our waiter was poorly trained and seemed like he didnt care to much about customer service.

Food was okay not great but was good service was horrible it was my Birthday and we felt like a burden to the staff we were ignored most of the time didn’t really get the whole experience couldn’t get anything or he just didn’t want to do bring us anything we were a group of 6 all paid for the premium meat section wished I could’ve tried more than two items for the price I paid for everyone

This place is soooo good. Quick service and unlimited food. It's BBQ you do yourself at your table. This is so fun on a date or with a group. Really recommend the bulgogi beef, so good.

Yes, the service isn't always great. However, the food is amazing. You need to research a restaurant before you go, especially one where you cook the food yourself. The price is high because it is all you can eat. The desert is all you can eat. Its perfect for familys, date night etc. My advice is to make a reservation before you go.
