Tell your Manager and Head Cook to get off their lazy A$$' and "86" items from the online Menu. I know, doing a Good Job isn't something a Missourian knows anything about.
I was hungry but only had time to pick up some fast food. I was going to head to Wendy's for a burger but I have been meaning to try Beef-a-roo so I took this opportunity!
I ordered a bacon double cheeseburger, a large sweet potato fry, and a large cheese curd. The young woman running the window was very pleasant and friendly which I appreciated! It took longer for the food to be made than I expected, especially since I was the only person in the drive thru and there was only one car parked in the lot, but I figured that meant they were making everything fresh. I got my food and headed home, a less than five minute drive.
First impression upon unpacking my food was that the portions were not worth the price. I paid $18 for a fast food meal that didn't even include a drink. The sweet potato fries were cold and limp, which was disappointing, and the cheese curds were cold as well. My burger was still warm, but it was so greasy that the bottom bun was dissolving as I ate it. The two parties were cooked completely differently - one was well-done while the other was very pink.
Taste-wise, the burger was decent, the fries were alright, and the cheese curds were meh. Kinda disappointed, I'm a major carnivore and had been interested in trying this place for a while.

I visited this restaurant because I've never heard of it. I checked the menu online first and while I try to stay away from fast food, I decided to give it a try. As a Michigander, I rarely see Olive burgers outside of Michigan. I never realized that this particular burger was invented in Michigan. It's in most restaurants, but I have noticed over the years that outside of Michigan, almost no one has heard of these delicious burgers.
Beef-a-roo had a olive burger. Alright, I'll try it. Let me tell you something. That was a horrible horrible sandwich. That brings shame to a olive burger. First off, the olives need to be mixed in with the mayo. The swiss cheese that's on it does no justice at all. It made for a gross burger. 0/5 for this. Some small changes, and you could definately make this a winner. For starters, don't use overprocessed green olives. There was absolutely no flavor to these at all. Just because the olives are green doesn't mean they're going to be delicious. Get the ones that have good flavor. That by itself can improve the sandwich.
I got a loaded baked potato. They forgot the sour cream. Then, I find out the baked potatos are microwaved. I don't like microwaved food, it changes the flavor, and you can definitely tell when a potato has been microwaved instead of baked. Yuck. The bacon was that bagged bacon pieces that you can buy from the grocery store. That stuff is chewy and gross. It also has artificial bacon flavoring in the bacon. 0/5.
So, on to the third item. The Wild West Beef sandwich. Ok, the onion ring wasn't fresh, but this was a decent sandwich. Could have used a little bit more sauce, but overall, I enjoyed this sandwich. I'd come back for this for sure. So while the other two items are definitely a miss and a "never want to experience again", the Beef sandwich is truly a 5 out of 5.
Take this review with a grain of salt. I can be rather picky sometimes, and this week in Missouri has been a week of disappointments because most of the food has been terrible. But I learned a couple months ago that I just don't care for the "southern cooking" style apparently.

Service went downhill, saw cockroaches in a booth in the dining room, I didn’t notice my water was milky until the end of my cup with white stuff on the inside (this is NOT condensation!) it’s ridiculous how disgusting this place is. I have loved beefaroo since they opened but I always go to the other location because it’s closer to me, this location needs to get it together it’s disgusting and I better not get sick from this milky water they have!

Ordered breakfast online to pick up. The guy was nice.
Got a chorizo bowl, and a vegetarian bowl.
The chorizo bowl had crumbled up bacon and potatoes. Nothing else.
The vegetarian bowl had eggs and potatoes, no cheese, avocado, beans or corn,
$8 a bowl, and it didn’t even come with the listed ingredients on the menu for them. This was our first time trying this company. We will never be back.
