I ordered a white cake with a “winter” theme and left it to them to create. I picked up a beautiful Snow White cake with drifts and snowflakes and tiny pearl balls. Just lovely! They know what they are doing.

First I find it very unprofessional that you will quickly reply to any positive reviews but anyone that has had a negative experience you do not try to rectify or make any comments, you completely ignore the situation and could care less to even attempt to make your customer happy. We recently purchased a peanut butter chocolate cake for Christmas from this bakery, based on our wonderful experience with their peanut butter brownies, which reminded us of a beloved family recipe. Unfortunately, that was not the case. While the chocolate cake itself was incredibly moist, the frosting was overwhelming with the taste of almond extract rather than peanut butter at all, which threw everyone off. The frosting’s flavor was so overpowering that no one finished their slice and it all went to waste.

We chose this cake specifically because we were told it would feature the same frosting as the peanut butter brownies we enjoyed, but sadly, it wasn’t the same at all. For nearly $70, we had hoped for a more enjoyable experience. We appreciate the effort that goes into crafting your products, but this particular cake missed the mark for us and left us without dessert for our family Christmas dinner.
UPDATE-
Have tried reaching out to the bakery on several occasions and can't get anyone on the phone or a returned phone call! I was hoping with posting a review I would get a response but all I've gotten is absolutely nothing at all. This is extremely unfortunate not only for the customers but for the business as well should have integrity and care about your customers not just the dollar.

The food at Beth’s Bake Shoppe was incredibly fresh and full of flavor, but the real standout was the amazing staff—they were friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. To top it all off, the desserts were absolutely delicious, the perfect sweet finish to a fantastic meal. It’s clear they put care into every detail.

Food was typical meh with a side of no taste. Our server was nice but didn't seem to care that 1/2 of us didn't eat our food. Lesson learned.

Well, I'm absolutely shocked.

I have come to Beth's Bake Shop since my granny discovered it, showed it to my mom, and showed it to me. I have constantly come here (right when they open) so I can buy the ~PECAN BARS~ and send them to my mom who I never get to see anymore.

Well, recently my granny died. Who also loved Beth's bake shop. But before she died, my mom came to visit. And my granny asked her to please go to Beth's bake shop to get her anything pecan before she passed. My mom has not been to this shop in awhile, but I have always recognized the woman who was working that day. I may not know her name, but I know her face. The woman had been working there for at least over 4 years with long dark hair, always in a ponytail. And to that woman, I wish you the worst. My granny who has been on her death bed wanted something from this shop, however, when my mom went in to buy something, this woman angrily told her NO!
Her: "We do not have pecan bars!" in a very rude tone.
We asked her politely if she could check in the back, as the older manager always would help us out and knew who we were.
Her: "No! I said we didn't have any." Alright, that's fine. So we asked her if we could have ONE slice of pecan pie.
Her: "No! We don't give individual slices before lunch!" There was more angry words to her sentence, but I'll spare you her rudeness.
So then we finally just told her that we wouldn't come back (we have been customers of 2 family generations who have come here for years).
What does she say? Word for word, "Good, we don't want your business anyway."

My granny died just a couple days later. What did she want when she was actually awake for the last time? Something pecan from Beth's bake shop.

I have never been so utterly devestated with a place before that I have visited for numerous years of my life. That my family has visited for numerous years of their lives.
Not anymore, way to screw over a woman's dying wish.

I don't know your name long haired ponytail woman who's always short with me everyone I see her. But I hope you have a nice life, because your "bad day" that you thought probably wouldn't matter because you can be rude to customers all you want, way to take away a dying woman's one final wish when she was awake.

I feel bad to the nice people who work here who have to see you everyday. But your wish is granted, we won't come back. ❤️

Not like my granny could. Way to go.

Edit: My mom did tell this UNkind lady that we were trying to buy something for her mother who was in the hospital. It didn't stop her from making sure that she was "right" (sarcasm) and that we should leave.

My husband and I were wanting a sweet treat this afternoon and didn’t know where to go for a traditional bakery treat in town, so we googled it and found Beth’s! We decided to give it a try and we are so glad we did. It was great! We tried the Texas Brownie, Chocolate Ooey Gooey, Oatmeal Raisin Cookie and Coconut Macaroon— all of which were so good, fresh tasting and really hit the spot. They had a great selection to choose from, we will be back and we want to try their lunch.

Discovered this Fabulous bakery while searching Google maps. OH MY GOODNESS it is absolutely wonderful.....the baked goods, the service, the other lovely shop gift items. I bought a to-go goodie box. If I lived close this would definitely be a weekly stop for me and my friends would appreciate all the yummy delicious gifts I could send them. Love love love!

I went with a friend to get some baked goods! I bought a peanut butter "brownie" and was highly dissappointed!! It wasn't a brownie at all! Just very dry cake, and the frosting wasn't that good, it was super greasy. The lady that served us seemed annoyed, and it was way overpriced. I was hoping for better.

Probably the worst cookies I have ever had. For the taste and what you get very over priced
