The food was amazing. Very fresh great flavor combinations. Tea was great value from Walmart. Not what I was expecting from a tea room. But overall was a decent lunch with my grandmothers.

I didn’t know about this place at first, BUT….someone bought me a birthday cake from here, and had it special made for me (dairy and gluten free). It was sooooo good and it was beautiful!! I am thankful for places like this that can accommodate people like me that suffer from food allergies. I will definitely be returning!

My first visit. I went in for sweets and definitely was not disappointed. I got several cookies and a Texas brownie. The best cookie was the chocolate no bake!

they made a cake for my baby shower and it turned out absolutely perfect!! it was vanilla cake with cream cheese frosting and it tasted amazing!! the cake looked exactly like my inspiration picture, and was super cute! would definitely recommend, and come back for future cake orders! the little winnie the pooh topper I added myself, it wasn’t provided!!

We love coming here for a yummy lunch date! Today was super special... it was an impromptu birthday celebration for my mom, and our waitress Elizabeth, plus a couple of the other girls went above and beyond to bring out a surprise custom birthday cake with bright smiles on their faces! Will forever be one of our favorite spots with our favorite people!

I have been taste-testing cakes across bakeries in and around Springfield, MO. Out of all the places I’ve been, these cakes tasted the worst.

The interior looked nice and well-kept at least. The one staff member present was very kind and friendly.

I bought 3 cupcakes and a small cake slice container. Now, for reference, I consider a 1 to be that I “gagged/spat out/couldn’t get myself to swallow/etc.” 5 is fine, I’d eat a small amount of it again to be polite so long as I’m not paying for it, but will never go out of my way to get it. 10 is I could eat at any time and savor.

White chocolate and raspberry filling cake slice: 5/10
The only thing with flavor was the raspberry filling. Ok/forgettable otherwise

Red velvet cupcake: 5/10
This was the most redeemable, though only because of the cream cheese frosting. The cake itself was next to flavorless, for better or for worse.

Vanilla cupcake with chocolate frosting: 4/10
That frosting… Tasted and felt *weird*. It was like a weird texture mix between spray can whipped cream and premade chocolate frosting from a canister whipped together. I never want to experience that frosting again. The flavor was the equivalent of a low-quality cupcake from a department store bakery.

Lemon cupcake: 1/10
I have a massive sweet tooth and like a wide variety of tastes (especially lemon cakes), and I’m sorry to say that this was the most vile cake item (let alone food) I’ve ever tasted. Both I and the person I was with had to spit it out then eat something else to get the taste out.

Had a bridal shower here Saturday. Communication was great, service was great, food was great. I cannot say thank you enough to Genesis who went above and beyond helping us with decorations, providing excellent service, and even cleanup. Cleaning up everything for us helped immensely as I had family from out of town, and it allowed me time with them before they left. I absolutely recommend this establishment for the service, the food, and the adorable atmosphere.

After one of my girlfriends suggested Beth's for my lunch visit with my friend who I met at Convoy of Hope's International Women's Day Conference, we met Monday. What a fabulous experience! We will be back.

Ordered a cake for 90th birthday party. The decoration on the cake was very pretty, with the colors I requested. Not overly decorated either. Very attractive. Lots of compliments from guests. Cake was very moist. An employee even carried the box to my car when I picked it up. I’m going back soon to try their lunch.

Amazing tea room, gift shop and oh my the fresh baked cookies!!

I've had two cakes made so far from Beth's Bake Shoppe & Tea Room. Both looked and tasted amazing! I've also had lunch here and the food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this little shop! It's so much more than just a tea room and bakery. They have personalized engraved gifts and the atmosphere is so peaceful. All of the employees I've interacted with have been so helpful and sweet! Thank you so much 💗 we love love love this gem of a shop 💕
