Big Whiskey's American Restaurant & Bar

Food was great. My tenders tossed in lemon pepper might have been the best ones I've ever had. My mom's salmon was also excellent. Service was bad, mostly just our waitress Tracy. Wanted a frozen strawberry margarita with sugar on rim. Got a strawberry daiquiri with sugar on rim & UPCHARGED $2 FOR SUGAR??? Never seen that before in my life. Drank maybe 25% of it and told waitress who left it all on our ticket. My entree came with 2 sides, but was upcharged for 1 of them with no advance warning. Salad didn't come before meal even after I asked. Didn't check on us or any of her other tables. Just took orders, deliverer drinks once, delivered food, then the check. She was tipped something, but should been tipped nothing & we should have at least gotten an apology for the drink. Sugar up charge is still crazy to me. The rim on it is like a 2 inch circle.

A lovely time! The staff were welcoming and helpful. Our waiter recommended both of our dishes and completely changed our minds on what we had originally picked. He was right! The food was great!

I meet a friend for lunch and the parking lot was full of cars so I was a bit worried since it was my first time visiting this location. When I walked in I was greeted by a young lady about seating and I said the bar area and she placed my friend and I at a table.
Taylor greeted us a short time later and informed us of the lunch specials and served us our drinks. We received our food in a timely manner and Taylor did a great job checking on us and keeping our drinks full and was very pleasant.
I will be back again and great job Taylor with your service and kuddos to the kitchen staff for getting our food out in a timely manner. Heard they had a large party and normally that hurts service but not today!!

Food was great! Dillon was manager on duty he did really amazing accommodating my family while we were there. I remember him working at a different location the last time I saw him.

I’ve been to both Springfield locations as well as the one in republic and this specific location is the best one. The serving staff is always attentive and kind, Tracy specifically makes it feel very comfortable and friendly!

We weren’t sitting at the bar, but the bartender was our server and didn’t pay much attention to us while she took care of the bar.
The French onion soup was terrible. It was also served with my meal instead of before, so it was probably sitting in the back getting cold but regardless, it wasn’t flavorful and the onions weren’t cooked enough. Overall a dismal experience.
