Big Whiskey's American Restaurant & Bar Springfield

Our server was great, very friendly, and attentive. Unfortunately, the food was not so good. Our burgers were very dry and overcooked, and buns were hard and stale.

I really enjoyed the salmon it had a great flavor. The drinks were also really good.

I've never had anything but stellar food and service here, and the same can be said for their sister locations in town and in Branson! The staff is so helpful at all locations, and the food is always delicious. I will continue to be a loyal customer whenever possible because they make it easy. ❤️

Went here for lunch a few days ago for the first time, ate on the patio with my husband. Service was decent, the server was attentive but seemed busy in spite of slower service (only noted a few tables inside were busy and we were the only couple on the patio eating) so we didn’t see her too often. Ordered the loaded fries, a California Turkey burger for myself and my husband ordered a 6 oz steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The turkey burger was okay though was a tad rubbery and tasted a bit off, plated it didn’t look the best and came with a tiny side of a server cup with steamed vegetables only. The steak my husband ordered was meant to be medium but came to him well done, however, the part that got us both was the potatoes. The potatoes themselves were topped with cheese and bacon but had this chunky white and brown stuff on top of that which we couldn’t identify and when my husband took a bite he said it tasted funny, sort of sweet. Upon tasting it myself I realized the potatoes had gone bad, having a sort of sweet rancid taste to them. We informed the server and was offered a secondary side but decided for dessert instead, the cheesecake churros, which were good. Overall I am unsure we will return here, the pricing was decent but we ended up not eating a good portion of the food in the end which was disappointing.

Wheatley’s service was great! Food was great too.

Always a good time & great service

We went to here for a birthday party and had a room upstairs. Our party had 26 people and we had one server. She was amazing at dealing with the chaos but she was given a second party to deal with so things did get a little confusing for her. I think she was an amazing server but I was disappointed that for such large groups this poor girl was left to deal with it on her own there should have been more servers available. The food was OK but a bit pricey for me.

Our waitress, Erica, at Big Whiskeys in Springfield MO on Battlefield was excellent! Best wait staff I've had in a very long time. She was very attentive and sweet. Knew about gluten-free and offered before we even asked! Food (fish and chips, dinner salads, ceasar salad with grilled chicken) was very good.

We ordered two burgers and a kids meal and waited for over an hour and never received them. When we asked our server about it she said “I thought you were waiting on other people to arrive.” We never said that. We had to pay for the drinks and appetizer we did receive. No apology and no lunch for my hungry kid. Really annoying. The Nixa one has always been good.

Great food and our server was awesome. I have ZERO complaints about this restaurant. The server work her backside off to make this a great experience. I will be back.

I wat there a couple of ti.es and month. I usually get Erica as my waitress. She is excellent. Always remembers me and takes very good care of the table. She is sweet and always pleasant. Enjoy seeing her.

Lunch with 2 of my daughters. Was a great place and the waitress was fabulous. The bill was also very reasonable. I am sure when I am back in Springfield we will be happy to visit back at Big Whiskey's!
