The Granny's Turkey sandwich is such a wonderful surprise of flavors. Absolutely delicious! Also loved the dragon fruit margarita. This place is in the heart of downtown Springfield. Many "colorful" characters roaming around can be off-putting. However, the staff and service is top notch, made me feel safe and well taken care of. This place is a gem!

The spinach white queso and the pretzel and cheese dip... Magical. The entrees were not that great... Edible, not magical. Decent service.

Ate there with a friend and got their chicken boneless wings. They were very raw inside. We were offered 50% off something else on the menu. I was not expecting to be forced to choose between a meal that could kill me and be very chewy, get something else from their artisan kitchen for half off, or just leave and pay. Left them a tip. Now it’s time for the bad review.

Tried the momma's pork chops. It had good curb appeal when it arrived. It was a little cold but tasted good. It took the server awhile to greet me. Took awhile to get my food. (Might be why it was cold) I didn't get a refill until I was done with my food and my card had been sitting on the table waiting for the tab. I'll probably give them another chance bc the food although cold was good. Hopefully I get better service next time

The food we actually got was pretty good. We had a group of 8 and it took almost an hour to get our food, only to have them forget one of the meals. By the time they got it out to us, the rest of us were practically done. Worst part is that it was only a wrap, which should have been one of the easiest things to throw together. We got to BW at 5:15 and we were going to a show at 7. Due to the delay in getting the first round of food, and then waiting on them to get the rest of it in a to-go box, we were late to the show. Almost 2 hours should have been plenty of time.

Cool atmosphere pretty okay food but really bad refried beans the biggest thing was though me and my friends spent 15 on the touchtunes just for the stage 2 balding manger to turn it off when weren’t playing anything inappropriate what so ever. Why have a touch tunes if people can’t use it.

We were so excited to eat at Big Whiskey’s on a trip to Springfield. We really enjoyed eating there when they were in Lee’s summit, but they shut down during COVID.
Unfortunately, our experience at this location was not good. Despite being 1 of 2 tables in the restaurant, our food took a long time to come out. When it did come out, half of the entrees were cold. The other half was overcooked. We rarely saw our server, and when we did see her and ask for something, it would take her 15-20 minutes to come back with it. Something as simple as a side of ranch shouldn’t take 20 minutes. My dad ordered coffee, which got him a look like he had 3 heads. I have worked in a variety of restaurants over the past 25 years, and every one of them always had coffee, especially if they carried any sort of dessert. The initial coffee served was super cold, and very strong like it had sat there a couple days. When he told her it was cold (because he doesn’t mind “strong” coffee), she brought back some lukewarm coffee. He told her again it wasn’t very hot, and she brought back another lukewarm coffee. At this point, he gave up and just drank what he had. A manager briefly came by the table and asked how it was, but it was before the food came out, and we didn’t see him at all after that.
It became pretty clear pretty quickly why there was no one there, and we won’t be going there again either.
