Big Whiskey's American Restaurant & Bar

My husband and friend went here last night. Came for drinks and apps. Sydney was our server and she was excellent! Very chatty,very present. Took excellent care of us. Any time we visit in the future we will seek her out! Our drinks and food were good. Atmosphere allowed for us to easily talk and enjoy ourselves.

We had the bourbon salmon and boom boom shrimp tacos. It was excellent and we loved the fact that we could bring our puppy on the patio! Liz the manager and Jaden our server were fantastic.

We had 2 parties at this location in their upstairs area. The staff was eager to help us with everything we needed. The food was great and the servers were attentive and promptly brought our party drinks and food.
Aaron and Liz were especially helpful, friendly and gracious. We will be back!
There is a nearby parking lot used by MSU during the day, but is free to park in in the evening so that was not a problem.

awful food and vibe here, place was a ghost town still waited for basically for a microwave meal not to include we saw not just 1 but a few cockroaches!, manager talked to us(Older guy), could smell the alcohol on his breath and my server, she just stood around on her phone... And their prices were even worse. $20 for 4 chicken tenders that were burnt and inedible. This place rather needs new owners or to close for good completely!

Liz and the staff at Big Whiskey are phenomenal! We were in town for work, visited 4 nights out of 6 in Springfield. We had to try everything...literally. Each night was better than the last. If in downtown Springfield, MO visit Liz and her staff at Big Whiskey's, every meal was on point, my personal favorite was the center cut sirloin. Cooked exactly the way I requested. Can't wait for our next work trip to Springfield!

Food was awful the cheese stick were cold not even melted chicken fajita wrap was nothing but vegetables and the BBQ burger was burnt dry and nasty waiter only came yo table to take order never seen again till it was time for check

Came here for a big birthday party and our servers Sydney and Drake were amazing! So attentive and very charismatic! Ask for them next time you come!

Literally the worst service I have ever experienced in my life. We sat down outside because the sign said “seat yourself” and did not get acknowledged once. We sat there for 25 minutes before we decided to just leave. There was also NO ONE seated inside and only TWO tables outside with people. Do NOT go here if you even just want a glass of water because the servers literally acted like we did not exist. Will not be going back EVER.

Great place to stop for a dinner. Ethan was our server and he was fantastic, Liz the General Manager checked up on all the tables. Best pork chop we’ve ever had. Highly recommend.

The chef, Anthony, was able to prepare a custom entrée for me catering to my gluten and nightshade allergies. The dish was delicious and was a very generous serving. The service was also exemplary, we will 100% be back again and again.

Worse nachos delivered no cheese on it at all 55 for 2 I could have bought my own stuff n spent less for what I got Friday. Never again ordering delivery u Never get what u order in person I guess. First time I ever at anything from here very disappointed
