Breadsmith in Springfield, MO is such a disappointment after enjoying the cinnamon swirl in Appleton, WI. They clearly are NOT all created equal. It must depend on who is doing the baking. The cinnamon swirl is a joke. Barely any swirl as seen in the picture I posted. The person behind the counter acted like it was going to be a huge mess to slice because of all the cinnamon. Okay…. I got home and sliced it myself with no issue and no mess. I tried buying it again thinking maybe it was just a fluke. Nope. Still not good. Now their sourdough is a different story. Always good and I will come back for more.

Bakery goods limited to just breads. Went there for their advertised fresh baked cinnamon rolls. Not sure how fresh as their rolls were packaged (5) and quite small and looked unappealing; pricy. Did not purchase.

Ok we know the bread isn't cheap but it's o so good...every last loaf on the rack! In fact I just had a toasted slice of French peasant this morning and I swear that bread smelled & tasted exactly like the old fashioned bakeries I grew up with!I know that man doesn't live by bread alone but this stuff could/does make me quite satisfied! Try some!Always friendly customer service!

Don't stop in thinking that they have all the stuff they show online... they don't. They make limited stuff on certain days... so shopper beware...

The ladies that work to make this magically delicious bread everyday fresh deserve recognition. Everything's fresh and they are always so wonderful to deal with. Friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. I just found this place but I will be a regular here from now on.

I want this business to get a five-star rating. Their bread is consistently excellent and coming from a major bread connoisseur, that that is the best compliment I can give. I have sampled bread from all over this country and Breadsmith's products are as good as it gets.

I previously posted a two star review over a customer service issue. The owner contacted me and I am completely satisfied the issue has been resolved. In terms of product, this bakery's bread is among the best I have eaten. Their quality is consistently excellent. One of my past-times is to visit bakeries and sample bread. This bakery has some of the best bread I have ever eaten. I strongly recommend this place.

If I could leave no stars I would have. Stopped in Saturday about 1:45, I know it said closed at 2 but thought I'd see what they had, didn't have much but got loaf of cinnamon bread, jalapeño cheddar sourdough & cinnamon rolls. Asked if he could slice it, he would if I wanted to clean slicer, should be cleaned after they close. Said 1st time in, didn't live in area asked where from told him and he said must not have money. Well I spent $27 on 3 items, that weren't worth it at all & we have family that live here that said I should have just left without buying after his comments.

Got their power wheat bread yesterday to go with a stew I was making. Heated it up in the oven and it was absolutely delicious… crusty edges, soft inside, with little bits of dried fruit. Perfection! Will definitely be back.

Breadsmith has the best bread(s), cones and rolls in this area! So fresh, so tasty! I buy all our bread from there.
