A MUST TRY in Springfield! If I could give this place 10 🌟's I would! If you're a vegan you have got to try the amazing food. We did have a dessert that was not vegan, but it was gluten free. They do have a vegan dessert that we still definitely try soon. We had the Portabello Saltado and the Jackfruit fajitas. For dessert we had the Torta de Askinosie.

This is my favorite restaurant in Missouri. We travel over an hour to enjoy this beautiful, fragrant, delight for the palette. Perfection.

Updated 02-08-2026 We were in Springfield for mass and decided to grab dinner. Thought we'd revist Cafe Cusco, and were not disappointed.
This time, we found out they have a dining room upstairs that they use on Friday and Saturday nights! It is lovely! Our server was Gretchen, she was great! Attentive checking on us often, kept our drinks topped off and made sure our food was delivered promptly.
Both of our Entrees were delicious! Service was outstanding!
We'll be back.
We were looking for a new Mexican food place, selected this venue, and was not disappointed. Turns out it is Latin influence.

This a super cute Peruvian restaurant on Commercial. C-street has been gentrified, and the whole area is pretty adorable. The wait staff is so kind, even chasing after us when we forgot a go box. The food is really good with lots of spice and flavor. You can get a reservation, but we’ve always been able to walk in and get a table.

Food was salty for my personal taste. Chicken Fajitas were good, necessary with the rice for me because of salt. Service was fast and pleasant. The atmosphere is warm, and ornate.

We really enjoyed this dining experience! The food was new to us. There were interesting flavor combinations that I hadn't had before. We really appreciated the service and introduction to something new. If I am ever in the area again I would definitely return. The atmosphere was great!

Went to meet up with a friend. Cafe' Cusco is the halfway mark between our homes (approximately.5 hour drive one way each). My friend's daughter recommended it. The atmosphere was wonderful, the service was amazing, and the food beyond delicious! The Lucuma Cheesecake.....OMG! I now love Peruvian influenced cuisine! Bravo!!

I found bones in the goat dish and was told that it is completely normal. Within 15 hours I was sick as it gets and not able to be far from my bathroom. I called when I was feeling close to normal not to complain but more to let them know what my experience was. They told me I was lying and I was clearly only trying to get a free meal. That's ridiculous from a customer service point of view. I wasn't disappointed with the meal initially as it was somewhat similar to what I ate in Peru. It's far from authentic Peruvian food but for beginners it can have appeal. I'd compare it to America pad Thai as being authentic Thai food. I would try again but the complete dismissal of food poisoning was a major red flag. C-street has tons of good food but I would avoid this place.

Cafe Cusco is an incredible restaurant that has only gotten better as the years go by. The atmosphere is lovely, with delightful stained glass and decor. Their drinks are delicious, I highly recommend their pisco sour since that is not something you can typically find outside of Peru. They even added an entire vegan/vegetarian menu to help make life easier for vegans like me and I super appreciated that. Definitely check out this restaurant if you're in Springfield
