Great atmosphere. Delicious food. All the servers make me feel like family. I moved to Springfield in 2015, found Cedars and been eating there 2-3 times a week ever since.

My nephew was eating his omelet and found 2 hairs in it .. the waitress chyanne argued with him even after he show it to hershe screamed at him claiming its egg strings. Unbelievable total rude with a rude onesie says wht do u want will it make u happy if I take the omelet of the bill would that make u happy. The leans over our table says I'll just take this plate off the table then keeps raising her voice saying loudly how r u paying for this sir do u plan to pay for this sir my nephew says im paying with a card.. she repeats a card with a nasty tone is this ur card sir. She the started repeating loudly 16.39 u owe 16.39 so ur paying 16.39 my nephew gave her the card and was finishing eating my French toast . It didn't taste good to me but he was going to eat it but she picked it up saying im,going to take this off the table too .. I said how rude we r paying for that but she kept walking comes back with the receipt my nephew signed it and looked at me and said should I leave her a tip. I said absolutely 💯 not and I picked up the pen and wrote tip:dont argue with the customer. 0/ tip.

Great food for a very good price. The amount of food you got was very good. My wife and I split a club sandwich for lunch. I couldn’t believe how much meat they put on it. A very tasty sandwich. I just wish we could go back. ( we’re traveling). The food other people were served looked like plenty and very tasty looking.

Being 50, other than the waitress, we were the youngest in the place. Apparently the older folks love this place. It's just an old dinner style atmosphere with trains painted on the walls. Food was fine, nothing fancy.
People were really nice but the food wasn't very good.

This place is on our regular rotation. It's where you go if you want good, no-nonsense, satisfying American food. They run daily specials and the homemade rolls are delicious. I am partial to their hand-formed 🍔 cheeseburgers.
