Ordered carne asada steak. The steak was under seasoned, over cooked and very dry. It’s a bar to have a couple drinks but the food is horrible and the music is super loud

The steak was dry and under seasoned. I think they stay in business because of the drinks. The food is horrible

Food and service is fabulous. But it’s very loud inside and hard to talk to others at the table.

Our server, Linda, was great! The food is always amazing. They make one of the best Chimichangas out there!

Best Mexican food that I've had in Springfield, MO thus far. From a native Texan, that's high praise.

We had the Tostada Ceviche. Excellent flavor. Refried beans were also very good. However, the restaurant was full, and the decibel level was extreme. My husband wears hearing aids and he actually took them out just so he could tolerate how loud. There is nothing to soften the noise level. We ordered a burrito and brought it back to the hotel so we could actually have a conversation.

Cesar’s Old Mexico is hands down one of the best spots in Springfield if you’re craving legit Mexican food. The portions are huge, the flavors are spot on, and everything tastes super fresh. The tacos are killer, but honestly you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Service is always quick and friendly, and the prices are more than fair for how much food you get. Definitely worth the stop if you’re in town.

Great food! Great service! I will note, if you don't like noisy people, don't sit in the front under the curved glass windows, they amplify everyone in that area, making it loud as heck.
