Matt went above and beyond tonight! Super busy evening on an unexpected week night and he made the most of it. I noticed the manager kind of grilling him on nonsensical things but I need to reaffirm that he’s genuinely the goat. Keep at it brotha

Always great food, good atmosphere, quick service, friendly server. Tons of TV's everywhere to ensure that my ADHD is on overdrive all the time. Had to send our appetizer back to have it heated up but everything else was fine.

My fiancé and I had one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve ever had thanks to our bartender, Ryan M, tonight. He was genuinely kind, incredibly attentive, and made us feel taken care of from the moment we sat down. Every interaction felt warm and sincere — the kind of service you remember.
Our drinks were perfect, our food came out quickly, and Ryan checked in just the right amount without ever feeling overbearing. You can tell he takes real pride in his work and truly cares about his guests’ experience. He was friendly and funny right from the get-go, and was so supportive of every decision we made - even when we changed our minds. At the end Ryan asked for our opinions on dinner and when I told him I wished it had more tomatoes, he immediately offered and got me some tomato sauce on the side to take home for our left overs.
We left feeling so impressed and grateful. Cheddar’s is lucky to have someone like Ryan M on their team. We will absolutely be back because of his exceptional service!

Steak was fair and waitress wasn't great as she never checked on us after food was delivered nor did she refill our drinks. Chicken was good and tender with lots of flavor. Mashed potatoes, meh

Wasn't impressed. Ordered steak medium well. Showed up somewhere between rare and medium. Ordered with fries and green beans. Fries were soggy. More baked than fried. Green beans weren't too bad, but on the sweet side. My daughter ordered a seafood platter with shrimp and fish. She gave me one of her fish filets to taste. I like my fish crisp. This fish was on the soft and soggy side. I won't be going back. Service and atmosphere were acceptable.

I didn't review Cheddar's last time I visited? Well let me say that this is tied with schlotzskys as my favorite Springfield place to eat. Variety is life and this place has that. Everything is top tier so pick something random and order it and discover your next favorite thing.

We ate at Cheddars last night to celebrate right after my daughter’s engagement as this was the first place they went on a date.
When we got seated it was in the room off to the side and it was freezing cold in there. We all had to keep our coats on to eat. My 2 grandkids 3 & 1 were also cold. We had 11 people plus 2 toddlers so we spent quite a bit of money. Which is completely fine. (even though I only had 3 chicken strips on my plate and I’ve always gotten a lot more in the dinner and no gravy on my potatoes that I ordered). However to have to eat where it’s so cold we couldn’t stand it was not a pleasant experience. My husband kept the hood on his hoodie over his head. We looked at the thermostat on the wall and it showed 62 degrees. The waitress also stated her ears had been cold all shift. So if it’s cold in there for your employees that are up moving around please don’t put your customers in there. Maybe look into the option of putting a mini split heater or something out there or just closing it for the winter. We heard other customers complain as well. And the manager stated that there’s nothing he could do because “that room just isn’t insulated very well”.

Shared a variety of different menu items among the family today for lunch.
The chicken was delicious and the pot pie was a big hit. Our side dishes were delicious and unique.
