Good News, Bad News.Saturday’s special today is Italian Beef. BUT, they ran out before 8 pm, when I got here from KC headed to Branson.I supported this local restaurant all thru Covid before my job took me to KC. My daughter looked forward to SDC. All day long I only wanted an Italian Beef. At 14 years old in the early 80’s, my first job was making Italian Beef in Chicago. This place does a great job of representing ChicagoLand.I can’t believe it the owner is stingy such that they ran out. It comes in frozen from Chicago, so I can’t see why there isn’t another tub unthawed.Guess I’ll have to be ok getting Italian Beef at Costco frozen from now on.

showed up at lunch on a Sunday and it was busy. Just a little 10-15 min wait for a tasty philly and friend mushrooms.. the bread is really tasty and the Philly was just right and not too over filled. Mushrooms were perfect fried buttons with some garlic flavor.. They got some weekday specials and noticed they have an additional menu that was laminated on the counter not the same items as the board shows.. they have a bunch of stuff including cheeseburgers.. staff was polite and friendly.. we try to stop when visiting Food 4 Less..

I've been here several times and have eaten 5 or 6 different things. I have yet to be disappointed with anything. The staff are always cool, and cordial, even when they're slammed. The menu is simple, yet has a variety of options. I highly recommend this place for a wonderful sandwich and fries.

This is by far my favorite place to eat in town. Im very much a sandwich snob as ive worked in several different shops over the years and i was still blown away by the quality of the ingredients and the consistent presentation. I've been going for about 3-4 years and i do not plan on stopping anytime
