Highly disappointed with the total experience. We are visiting Springfield for a funeral. Our family wanted cashew chicken and decided on your place over all the other choices in town. I placed an online order. I got to the restaurant in the pouring rain. They said it was all bagged up. (I should have checked it!) I get all the way back to the hotel , still in the torrential rain only to find out they left out 2 meals. I called and told them so I drove back over. The lady in charge told me she was confused and said everything was in the bag when I left and acted like I was not telling the truth. She finally gave me the two dinners they forgot the first time. This whole experience was beyond frustrating…. This will be our last visit!

Upon pulling up, you see the drive-thru so I'm thinking fast food, but in reality, it is fast and it is food but the quality is amazing!!
We walked inside and placed our order at the counter with the employee who greeted us with such a warm smile! The hubs ordered the cashew chicken combo and I ordered the large beef lo mein because the difference between a regular and large is $2.
If you eat in, you get to have their soup bar for free. Your options are egg drop soup and hot and sour. Both are so delicious and some of the best we've ever had.
Our food was delivered to our table as if it were a fast casual restaurant, which we totally weren't expecting.
The portions are huge and isn't overly salted. We don't normally eat a lot of salt in our meals and are always worried that restaurant food would be salty, but here, it is lightly salted and you can always add more salt if needed. Please note that even though it's not salty, that doesn't mean it lacks flavor. This place totally understands flavor and it's awesome!!
Also, the inside of the restaurant is CLEAN! Yes, restaurants are supposed to be clean but this place is super clean. The windowsills, pillars, tops of the booths, every surface is immaculately clean!!

DO NOT EAT HERE i found bugs in my drink, thats right BUGS not 1, not 2…im talking, multiple! what the actual hell yall have a serious infestation. i will never be eating here again. pls dont let anyone you know eat here and let them know!! this place needs to be shut down. i usually dont open my drink from anywhere, i just drink it but the bad service made me check, thank god!! dont even get me started with that girl at the window. SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN
Did NOT Disappoint! A friend recommended Cahsew Chef for a Chinese food option. Wow! Best Sweet and Sour Chicken I've had in a very long time (we are foodies and travel). The chicken was fork tender and lightly breaded, sauce was delicious with pineapple chunks and carrots! The egg rolls, crab ragoon, rice and soup were just as delicious. The service was quick and friendly. The eating area was causal, clean (not cluttered), and well lit. We will definitely recommend to others and return to try other menu items. Suggestion, skip over the lower rated reviews, because had we just gone by the reviews and the 4.3 rating, we would have missed out on a new favorite spot to add to our list.
