Classic eatery atmosphere and aesthetic. American diner food at its finest. Nothing flashy or fancy, just an easy lunch spot with good food and friendly staff.

Had to edit my review due to our last visit on a Saturday afternoon. The chili burger I ordered was tepid at best, (both the burger and chili). They were in a rush to close I guess and didn't take the time to serve us their usually good, fresh fare. The cook kept yelling at the staff to hurry up and stop standing around talking. As the owner pulled up in her car, that was when the staff (not our server) stopped visiting with one another and stopped making their crude jokes to one another for all to hear. Our server, a young female, was attentive to the customers, polite and a working dynamo. She never stopped cleaning and organizing the dining area. Not our typical visit. Too bad.

My daughter and I stopped in for pie but ended up with fried mushrooms instead. They were fresh out of the fryer and very tasty. All the staff were very friendly.

Classic old school diner. Burger was good. Looked to be hand pressed. Onion rings were very good. Definitely want to get a dessert next time. Only down side is no fountain drinks, soda is available but cans. Great spot on Route 66!

We ate breakfast here on a Saturday morning. The food was good and hot. The pancakes were nice and fluffy! Everyone that worked there was so friendly. The place isn’t very big, but clean and very reasonable priced. We would definitely go there again.

Very small place but has lots of Route 66 memorabilia and atmosphere. They run a special most days but we went for the handbreaded Pork Tenderloin sandwich. The sandwich was very thick, not flattened out to mostly breading. You get fries, salad or chips for $11.99 but pay an extra dollar and get their hand breaded onion rings for your side! The waitress was attentive and order came out fresh and hot without too much of a wait. They also make up cinnamon rolls and a couple of other pie like desserts but sandwich was very filling so no need for dessert. We will definitely be back. Great experience and great food. We were there about 1:30 pm on Tuesday and sat right down at 1 of 5 booth seating. There was also counter seating, fun experience for the kids.

Very cheap yet decent food. Full breakfast at 6-8am was 7 bucks total. Not a lot of space in booths. Don't show up with more than 4 people.

Tried this place for breakfast around 10am . Gotta say the reviews I’ve seen and heard do not match , what I’ve experienced.

Lunch the burgers and onions are great.

It’s a very tiny place. Just to let you know. They only serve can sodas not fountain .

Service was great . 2 lady’s checked on us multiple times.

Daughter ordered 2 egg bacon breakfast with hash browns and wanted a pancake.

What she received was 2 eggs over easy , 3 pieces of bacon, NO hash browns and 2 decent size pancakes.
She didn’t wanna complain as she got extra pancakes instead of hash browns $11.99

I ordered half potato delight with 2 eggs over easy ( came out over medium) with toast and 1/2 biscuits and gravy
The plate was just MEH
Biggest complaint was , my plate arrived and I was told the toast and b&g was right behind
5 mins later I got my b&g but no toast , I inquired about said toast , took another 2 mins
I like to dip my toast .

The biscuit was soft and fluffy , the gravy has no flavor . Lots of salt n pepper . It may have had one bite of sausage , not even sure .

$30 for 2 people for just meh breakfast.

If I come back again , it’ll be for the onion rings

Hands down one of my favorite cafe's on Route 66. Good cooks, waitresses and owner. The owner makes some awesome deserts from scratch. Be sure to sign the Book. Route 66 history. Always busy. Highly recommend 💕

I love this old school joint! The staff was friendly and it’s definitely very reminiscent of classic Route 66. I had a patty melt and fries, it was quite good. I would definitely send people here traveling route 66 or staying nearby.
