Cox south cafeteria

At night when I get my lunch break I wish I could go to the mercy cafeteria, I know there there will be people making fresh food. Here you get left over burgers stale chicken sandwiches and a menu offering all kinds of things but NOT ONE PERSON BEHIND THE COUNTER TO SERVE YOU. Bringing my own food from here on.

UPDATE AT NIGHT THEY NOW OFFER BARELY ANY FOOD AT ALL JUST A BUNCH OF STALE PREMADE BURGERS Repeatedly go here before work to grab something. Almost always go with the rice cause thats the only thing I know will be hot and cooked through. Today I wanted potato soup as I saw they had some. It was labeled POTATO. When I got it it was actually broccoli. I didnt really look when I was scooping cause it initially looked like potato. I guess I can add mislabeled food to the list of dislikes for this cafeteria.

There were 3 of us and all of our meals were delicious.

Ordered a grilled cheese. The workers looked annoyed that she had to make it. Then the sandwhich was hard. Another time...today...ordered grilled chicken and rice and received bland COLD chicken and COLD rice. We need to do better we are going to wind up serving people food poisoning.

This is by far the worst food one will ever eat. If you want good flavor vs their chicken strips, chew on your shoe. The Mac and cheese tasted as if it had gravel in it. Nurse ordered turkey and cheese sandwich at 12:30 and it’s now 6:20 and guess what I got a mixed vegetable medley that looks as if a dog crapped in it. Third time in this hospital in three years and the food is way worse now than before…

Lots of choices and good prices. Good seating, though I generally took my food elsewhere.

Cold biscuits and gravy. Customer service and friendliness lacking. Will not visit again

Food is delicious

The Chinese chicken was very cold and the chicken and dumplings was very average. Next day I tried salad salad was very good the quite expensive.

Need to cook food fresh instead of cooking it and letting it lay there. Asked how long the fries had been there and she said 20 minutes.... I'll pass! Salad bar was good.

The whole point of a cafeteria is to be simple and cheap, yet this one has above average prices. Why would someone wanna disgrace themselves for a fortune? You get a star.

Yes I just come from emergency at Cox south and I went around to the cafeteria to see if I could get something breakfast and coffee the man said they didn't have any gravy or biscuits wich I just wanted one and he said he can make me some eggs and he asked me how would I like them and I said just scramble them please and man did he really make the best scrambled eggs I ever had in my life, they were so good, thank God for those people who work in the cafeteria so hard to get you everything you need and just how you like it they have wonderful food that you have to go eat at the cafeteria at Cox South you're going to love it they have the best food I'm telling you it could save your life when I say I'm thankful to God for those people who help me out in times of need greatly they just do not understand when I say this it means I get to live for another day and take medicine through which God has allowed me to have. Now don't worry everything will be fine I promise and I love you all thank you so much for being there when I need you yes God bless all of you in the cafeteria at Cox South so, you work so hard everyday you deserve better mention thank you and God bless
