On our way home from dinner with friends, we decided it would be a nice reat to stop for a DQ Blizzard. Using the drive thru electronic board we both ordered a small turtle pecan blizzard. When we received the ice cream, the first thing we noticed was it looked like a cup of milk with pecans and chocolate. This is one of the older DQ's in Springfield in fact it is the oldest LOL. But one year ago I would not have recommended it to anyone. I think it was being run by meth heads or something then it was pretty bad. But now they have new ownership and and I have been there a few times this summer to get food for the wife and I we both love the ice cream and shakes burgers chicken tenders and more.
