OMG OMG OMG!!!!! This place is not only amazing, but completely legit! Most of the menu is in Spanish, and the flavor is as authentic as it get!!! We have had the pleasure of eating at quite a few authentic places in Portland OR, and we missed it so much. New Mexico was good, but it didn't taste "authentic." Just like most Mexican places around here I feel it's been dumbed down for American taste buds, or incorporated into a "Texmex." Not this place though. This is DOWN HOME COOKING MEXICAN FOOD!!! This is real Mexican comfort food and you can tell it's made with love!! Their fried chicken was some of the best I ever had; their salsa both green and red is phenomenal!!!! I've never had better beans, and pico salad ever!! The worst part is it's walking distance OMG I'm going to get huge!! Seriously though stop here and try them; even if you are driving across town it's worth it!
