Derby deli is my favorite lunch and happy hour restaurant in Springfield. I love their delicious food and their atmosphere is great! I enjoy it when they have music too!

My favorite lunch spot! There's a different special every day but I always come back to the Derby Deli Club, Local Goat Salad or the Parisian. Don't miss the cookies either! They're huge and especially delicious warmed up

The BEST spot in Springfield! Everything I’ve ever had is amazing…Italian Farm or Local Goat salads, both chicken salads are favs. My husband loves the Reuben or the prime rib sandwich. Tim & the staff are wonderful, & it’s such a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

My favorite is the kale salad, and I add the spicy tuna or salmon. It’s delicious and guilt-free! My husband loves the daily specials, especially Friday’s Prime Rib French Dip. Service is always so friendly and welcoming (thanks, Tim!). Great to dine-in, but they do very efficient carry out.

Great food and service is even better! We like Andrea the best and always request her when she’s there. 10/10 would recommend!

Great sandwiches, truly. And the soups ?. The staff works hard, be kind to them. Jennifer was great with a question we had

Food was excellent. Very rude, arrogant wait staff. The cashier taking food orders barked at people to line up single file against the wall, then accused me of taking extra chips. I had to remind him they came with my orders. When my granddaughter asked for a to-go box they barked at her to go back to her table. Had to go to the liquor counter for a bag for our to go boxes and the owner stood in front of one of the employees until she moved for him. When I asked for a bag I was told “I don’t have one.” No attempt to get me one. The Reuben was good. Kids pizza was nasty. I won’t give them my hard earned cash again. Sorry…your rudeness lost my business. Attitude makes a big difference. I recommend a little humility. Won’t spend my money or time on people who don’t appreciate my business and think I’m privileged to be in their facility.

Over priced food&wine but not bad taste definitely a weird/hostile vibe that should not be for a wine spot- seemed to be an altercation before I went in. The workers are saying don’t let this man back in, once i heard that i was kinda scared and took my food to go…. After I went across the street to change outta my work attire because i am on the road to Kansas City- i see the owner (i assume) taking pictures of me changing!! Felt very uncomfortable (again) so i asked him if he did driving by and he said no (which is weird because i saw him lol) i think they were a little on edge from the instance before…. Hope this doesn’t happen to anybody else.

Tried the Reuben and it was one of the better ones I have had in Springfield. I willSay it is the best just was a little heavy on the sauerkraut. It still came out really good though. Also got to try the tarragon chicken salad sandwich. I thought that was better than the Reuben. Overall I am satisfied with the service and the atmosphere.
