When we made reservations, we were told that the kitchen prioritized the orders of those with reservations. This appears to be true, as we were enjoying our main course long before those around who had been seated prior to our arrival.Our waitstaff, Jenna, was courteous and attentive. All the waitstaff we're wearing masks.Our salads were very fresh and tasty. The fries were delicious and the the steak was perfectly prepared.

This place was very expensive for what you get -very sub par food. I got the so called "world famous tamales" they tasted just like the Hormel canned tamales ? They bring out fried canned biscuits like I used to make when I was 12?. The steak was tender and cooked to the right temperature, but didn't have any flavor. We were pretty disappointed. We'll never go back. The only positive was the service. Our waitress was excellent and very sweet.

Got a burger for lunch. For me it was over seasoned and I like a lot of seasonings. The price seems high for what you get. Our total bill for 2 burgers and one soda was over $25 then a tip. Service was ok but the tables that where drinking adult beverages got more service than mine. As a whole it was not bad just not up to the price charged.

First time eating at Doe's and I was not disappointed. First, the staff was friendly and attentive. The steak was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. I had one of the house drinks which was very good as well. I will be going back. Definitely recommend for a good quality steak dinner. Family friendly environment.

We took a chance and stopped at the friendliest restaurant ever! Melissa insisted we try the homemade tamales and chili! Amazing flavor. We also enjoyed southern dropped fried biscuits with honey and butter! Homemade crab corn chowder and shrimp!

Really surprised, in a good way. I'm pretty difficult about steak, it's not right in most places and this was on point. I'd like to see more veggie options as sides, I'm allergic to peppers and it was that or green beans. Steamed broccoli would be nice? Or a veggie blend without peppers, a lot of people don't like them anyway. The salad had about 4x the dressing I'm ok with, will get it on the side next time and just didn't eat it. Didn't matter because the steak was perfect.
My girlfriend and I planned our weekend in Springfield from St. Louis on eating here. We definitely were not disappointed. Our server Tiana was so nice and very helpful along with being quick. I had a little problem with my steak being overdone and between Tiana and Ben they fixed it in a hurry. Ben was awesome and genuinely cares about his customers. Tamales, rolls, steak, potatoes and salad were absolutely phenomenal! The house margarita had a wonderful smoky flavor I've never had before.Top notch service! Will definitely be back!

Benjamin was so great to accommodate a large batch of their AMAZING seafood gumbo for a girls night dinner I hosted! We had one small bowl left because everyone loved it — great food & service!!(We forgot to take a picture because we were too busy enjoying every single delicious spoon full!!)

With everything happening in the world they were still able to seat our group in a quick fashion. While the service was slow, I don't fault them for this. They did keep our drinks full and we were patient with them while taking our orders. The steaks were amazing, the tamales and chili were delicious and everything came out wonderful.
