We went to Echelon Coffee in Springfield, MO, and it instantly became my favorite coffee shops. The atmosphere alone is worth the visit—warm, inviting, and so peaceful. The staff was incredibly friendly, the kind of genuine kindness that makes you feel welcomed the moment you walk in the door.
Their coffee is on another level. They roast their own beans and have their own blend, and when I say it’s the best coffee I’ve probably ever had, I’m not exaggerating. The flavor was so smooth and rich that I could easily drink it black. You can truly taste the freshness and the craft behind it.
We also ordered the banana chocolate muffin, and it was perfect—moist, flavorful, and baked just right. You can tell they they do everthing in excellence.
The shop was clean, cozy, and had plenty of comfortable seating—great for relaxing, studying, or catching up with a friend.
If you’re in Springfield and love good coffee, friendly people, and a peaceful atmosphere, you absolutely need to stop by Echelon Coffee. I can’t recommend it enough!

A dozen years ago I was the general manager of two separate high quality cafes in Kansas City. This is a Great coffee shop! Kind baristas, delicious drinks and great food. If I lived in Springfield I would definitely do the Upper Echelon Club. I know how much whole bean coffee costs and I know how much of it goes into a batch of drip coffee, these guys are offering a VERY good deal.

A unexpected high quality espresso bar off a major interstate. I ordered a machiato and turned out excellent. Since I stayed at a nearby hotel, the next morning, I went back for another excellent machiato prepared by another barista. This shows that the management is committed to training and maintaining good baristas.

Look at this latte art! This place has delicious Carmel lattes and they are amazing people and super amazing to loyal customers. They have doggie treats for you pup. And always in a good mood about their job. I will update this when I get the gentleman’s name that created this superior latte! Echelon is my favorite coffee shop!
It's such a cozy space! There's plenty of good seating for just sitting and sipping or even playing board games or studying. The coffee is delightful and there's a good variety of other drink options. The food has always been really delicious as well!
I love going to Echelon coffee to regroup my thoughts away from my workplace. The atmosphere is quiet but busy with good people visiting or studying. I often take a book I'm studying and write notes as I'm studying. I can get a lot accomplished while drinking a good cup of coffee, eating a warm bagel, or a bowl of their rich oatmeal with cream. Yum!

Well ..ok so I asked for a cappuccino with an extra shot... light milk extra foam, in the large size cup ...so that I could add in sugar. The girl making my coffee still put it in the tiny cup with very little foam, so I changed it to the large size cup and handed it back saying more foam please. She was really nice, and she made more foam topping. Her coworker came and said she wasn't allowed to do that. I said,well I need extra room in the cup because I want to add sugar. Lol this barista who had charged me for a cappuccino with an extra shot 🥃 was loosing her mind about me using the large cup. Thankfully she wasn't the one making it. The Burrito called the Jo still had the skin on its roasted chilies,it wasn't like home. I will share the comparison.
