Don’t come here if you want to feel heard! I haven’t been to a bar/ Karaoke joint with spending money for being the “un-biased” gender gets you to the bottom. I’ve never went out of my way to make a review but I’m looking out for any gentleman!

Okay this place is so much fun and use to be THE PLACE! However the $10 cover is crazy no other bar has this. We don’t want to have to pay a cover to enjoy. Even $5 would be better. There use to be a line to the stop sign and now no one comes!! It’s sad because it is a fun bar!

Ernie’s is maybe the coolest, hip, club in all of Springfield! I go for the LIVE MUSIC, but I hear they pour mad drinks, too! And if you like your pianos dueling… !!!

It's usually laid back.. not too many of the rowdy college crowd. The bartenders were friendly and attentive. And the performers have always been entertaining to me.
We had a friends birthday dinner downtown and were very much looking forward to jazz night and cocktails… but when we arrived at 8:50 the doors were locked.

Jazz nights on Tuesday are fantastic. A chill after dinner drink with smooth tunes and tasty cocktails. This place has definitely improved with the new ownership.

Used to love coming here. Last time I went with my friend the bouncer claimed we were underage and took both our IDs and wouldn’t give them back. We had to get a cop to get our IDs back and she told the bouncer they were real, yet they still wouldn’t let us back in. Was a regular and knew all the bartenders, won’t go back after this.
