There are a lot of good restaurants in Springfield, MO, but this one might not come to a person's mind at first, but it is a solid choice. We had several appetizers that we shared: the calamari, the gyoza, the Thai chicken skewers, and the crab rangoon pizza. Then we split a couple of burgers, french fries, and onion rings. And of course, we had a couple of creme brulee cheesecakes for dessert. This was a meal that each of us in our family got a little-of-this and a-little-of-that...
We drove from St. Louis to celebrate my sister-in-laws birthday. She lives in the Springfield area. We had lunch at Fire & Ice. None of us had eaten there before. Our son and daughter-in-law, also from St. Louis, recommended the restaurant. Very cool restaurant. Open kitchen that produces some excellent food. Had dinner 2 nights in a row and both meals were superb. Great service as well and not overpriced as is the case at most hotel restaurants. I recommend the Pad Thai bowl. Their version is simply delicious and spicy at the perfect level.
