I contacted the manager at the Kimbrough location before Thanksgiving to request an order that would be our Thanksgiving dinner. My son recently lost his wife and this was his first Thanksgiving without her (she was an incredible lady), so there was a lot of sadness in our hearts. So, because my son loves Firehouse Subs, that's what I wanted to do for him for Thanksgiving. The manager didn't even hesitate, she was more than willing to provide the sandwiches and she provided the ingredients so we could make our own sandwiches on Thanksgiving Day. When she called to tell me the food was ready for me to pick up Wednesday evening, she told me something I did not expect! She did not charge me for the food and it was such an extremely nice thing for her to do, it made me cry. When I told my son what Firehouse Subs did for us, he and I both cried, because it was such a kind, unexpected gesture and it helped so much when we were dealing with the loss of his wife during the holidays. It gave me some hope that there are good people still left in this world. Thank you to the Manager personally for this simple act of kindness you did for my family; and thank you to the entire staff for all of their help and patience when I was getting this ordered.

I order two medium sandwiches today and one had the meat and the other one was missing meat. My husband kept saying there is no meat and I finally took a bite and someone messed up!! I never had problems with food orders at this location and I rarely go so I wanted to leave a review that my husband had only bread and lettuce etc. very annoying.
Better then subway in every way possible

Amazing food, amazing people. I love the fact that they didn’t ask for a tip on the app. They asked for a donation which I would prefer to give over a forced 15, 20 or 25% tip.

Firehouse is always on time or earlier than my anticipated pick up time, the service is great, and there's always has a smile on the staff.

Asked to replace ham with bacon; I was charged $2 to add bacon but no adjustment was made for the removal of the ham…

I want to start by saying, I really want to like this place! My boyfriend really enjoys a sandwich (his always has a lot of meat and looks good. Not my kind of sandwich though) from here and it’s close to my work. Anyway, we have been here I think 4 times now in the past few weeks. I have tried two different sandwiches. I am ALWAYS shocked by how little meat there is. I kept thinking each time maybe it’s me, surely they weigh the ingredients, this must be a fluke. I have decided today that I don’t really want to go back or maybe I need to order the cold deli options moving forward. I’m not sure yet. I have had the Turkey Thanksgiving option twice and it’s basically a sandwich with stuffing and cranberry jelly, I then tried the brisket sandwich and it was pretty much mayo & cheese. I looked at the pictures once, twice, three times and it is just not what is advertised at all. I snapped a picture this last time and asked my boyfriend repeatedly if it’s me! He assured me my sandwiches are definitely lacking and I know it’s not just me unfortunately. Maybe I’ll try again next year.

The subs were expensive. We paid around 35$ for both. But this is a college town so maybe that's why. I can say, they were really good and the service was amazing.
