We made a last minute reservation for 5:30pm on a Monday. We've been to a lot of steakhouses in big cities...this rivals any one of them and beats most of them. Not only was the food great, the service was above and beyond! We were seated immediately and served bread and mini banana nut muffins. Both were incredible (we almost turned down the bread starter but loved it so much we asked for a second serving). We ordered a dry gin martini and the Peachy Keen from the cocktail menu. Both were very good. We had the wedge salad and garbage salad (both half size). Both were great but the balsamic vinaigrette was too much on the vinegar side and not the best balance. We then each had a T-bone steak, the lyonnaise potatoes and a side of broccoli. We loved it and took some to go. I had the Wish Co Cabernet with dinner which was a good pairing. We shared the cheesecake for dessert. It was so good! If this were close to home, I'd return again and again! I can't emphasize how good the service was. The atmosphere was nice and we felt welcome despite being a little underdressed as tourists who spent the day out and about. Even the bathroom were well decorated, clean and smelled nice. Excellent experience!

Food and service are top notch! I had the Japanese Wagyu and my son had the KC Strip. Both cooked to perfection. Smoked fries and cheesecake tree were perfect.

Aside from a lovely atmosphere, the staff was super friendly and the food was quite delicious. The prices are fair for an upscale restaurant. They have a cool “red room” downstairs, it’s like a speakeasy vibe.

We had not been in Springfield for three years so we had been missing our favorite restaurant, The Flame Steakhouse. I cannot say enough good things about our waiter Patrick. When asking his advice on wine pairings with the steamed mussels I had a notion that he would suggest the Aria Chardonnay from Slovenia and his recommendation was spot on. Patrick as very pleasant and accommodating throughout the evening.

My fiance & enjoyed dinner at flame for Valentine’s Day, our meal was amazing, the red room is laid back with minimal lighting which we enjoyed, & our waitress was phenomenal!
I hadn’t been in awhile. They sat us in the basement level first at a table that if you touched would have fallen over (needed shimmed) then to the smallest high top ever. Dont get me wrong the steak was good but it’s just a piece of meat with no sauces and you have to pay MORE for if you want one. I would think it would come with it for a $50 steak. That said it was fine but not worth $170 meal.

I hadn’t been in awhile. They sat us in the basement level first at a table that if you touched would have fallen over (needed shimmed) then to the smallest high top ever. Dont get me wrong the steak was good but it’s just a piece of meat with no sauces and you have to pay MORE for if you want one. I would think it would come with it for a $50 steak. That said it was fine but not worth $170 meal.

Great place and you can have other food besides steak too ! Although the steaks are really good!! Large appetizer range, and you could eat nothing but appetizers too, as they are quite large, and a good deal for the money. Drinks are awesome. Flame isn't cheap, but it's well worth it.

I was very disappointed tonight.. We had a party of 12. I don't know what was going on, but our service was terrible and our food took an hour to come out and it was cold! Cold-Cold! I'd say that will be it for us.

I have been here a few times on work trips. The food is pretty good! Tonight I ate at the bar alone and the bartender made me feed right at home. Morgan is the best! 5 stars for Flame, but especially 5 stars for Morgan :)
