We live on the North West side and love our Chinese food, and we have some good ones!...However...hold on to your hats!!! The Flaming Wok is Amazing!!!! We have skipped it many times for many silly reasons. Let me tell you. We were mistaken. The quality of food with generous portions and hospitality of the family that runs it is unmatched by anywhere in Springfield! I so hope that they prosper and stay around because as long as they are...we are their customers!!!! Truly, do not skip this place for the same silly reasons we did!

Little hole in the wall place that has wonderful customer service! Their food is to die for!! One of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve found in Springfield!! My go to EVERY time I’m in the mood for Chinese. The whole family loves!! Prices are great with a wide range menu!!

I’m from out of town, so I chose Flaming Wok based on the reviews. I was not disappointed. Some of the best Chinese I’ve had in a long time. I ordered Sesame Chicken and white rice. The chicken was fried perfectly so it was still nice and crispy and the sauce was very tasty. She packed the to go container tight with more than enough of both the rice and chicken. Also came with a small egg roll and something else (not sure what it was, maybe crab rangoon?) on the side. The young lady chef was super nice and through our brief conversation you can tell she really cared about her food being delicious and the customer being happy, not just about making a sale.

Everything you want out of a local Chinese place, along with excellent service. The combo meal came with a generous portion of chicken and rice, along with a super crispy but light crab rangoon, and a fried spring roll. The general chicken, while being excellent, isn't necessarily what I'm used to. It's very sweet and savory, but doesn't have the spice and pepper flavor that I'd personally want. If you prefer your general sweet and spicy, you might want to find something else on the menu. That being said, everything was delicious and the people working were very nice!

Got the moo goo guy pan and fries rice and a cashew special. They have been putting less veggies in the food lately, and they took the broccoli and pea pods out of the moo goo. So sad. I would order from you alot more if you had a delivery driver. Hate door dash and grub hub. Want to tip driver when he's delivered fast, not when I'm paying.
