Cute place. Friendly staff. Good service. The food was good. But not great. Nothing was "wow that's good, I will be back". It was $30 with tax and tip. I had an omelet with sweet potato hash browns, 2 sausage links, and gluten free toast. Hot cocoa to drink. For a $30 breakfast, I want to be wowed.

I've never eaten anything I've enjoyed. Once, my food was barely warm to the touch and tasted just below mediocre. Last time, I had an omelet that had me crunching on bits of eggshell.

The staff is always very good and nice.

It gets kind of loud in the larger seating area, which can be overwhelming.

All in all, 3 stars seems fair.

i ordered the denver omelette, comparing it to ihop denver, i want to say Gaileys denver omelette was a healthy version, not too salty, not too greasy. Which was actually perfect to my liking. My husband didn’t enjoy his pancake as much, he said it wasn’t too fluffy to his liking but I think it was just right lol. Overall i enjoyed it! the blood mary was also good and the service was nice. I wouldn’t mind eating here again

Parking: it’s street parking so you may have to walk depending how far or close you can find a spot.

I celebrated my daughter's 24th birthday here and they gave her a complimentary confetti pancake. I thought that was great! I LOVED the French Toast & bacon, however the scrambled eggs were just bland and dry. My boozy coffee could have been a bit stronger but all in all, delicious!

PROs: Great location. Mid-century modern decor. Indoor seatings. Great and attentive service from Ethan. Food was great!
CONs: Only street parking. No waiting room inside.

Although we had reservations and told we were next folks kept going inside to be seated.
Approx. $65 (before cash tip) we ordered kid's french toast, kid's Lil Stack, Downtowner, Full B&G, & Stuffed French Toast.

My son and I were returning from Arkansas and decided to stop in Springfield from breakfast. We did a quick search for the “best” breakfast there and Gailey’s became our choice. We had a short wait, but it was worth the wait. We both had the Southwestern omelette with hash browns and it was great. The hostess told us that Gailey’s is local legend and now we know why. TW

We went for breakfast
We didn't get any.
After waiting 25 minutes for our order to come, we asked the waiter if our order was lost. He said it would be about 20 more minutes. Really???
Then we were told a grill went down. That I understand but shouldn't they say something to people so they could make up their minds if they wanted to wait???
Unfortunately we couldn't, but instead of letting us decide if we wanted to wait or go somewhere else we now have a bad feeling toward them for bad service

My wife and I have been a few times now and the food is generally pretty good. However I do have to note that the chili is particularly terrible and honestly tastes like it's from a can BUT everything else we've had during our multiple trips has been delicious.

We loved our breakfast! I had the strawberry fields pancakes and my husband got a spicy skillet. We also got a side of biscuits and gravy. Everything was delicious. The staff was friendly. There is local art on the walls for sale.
