George's Family Restaurant

Have been going here for years. Ownership has passed down to family and Desirée is doing a great job continuing the dining experience. For a local staple they are updating and have a nice outdoor patio area as well the best Reuben sandwich in Spfd. which pairs great with their really good onion rings & their signature salsa is my fav. I put it on almost everything. you can ask them. you just have to try for yourself. All of their staff have always been great to me and the newest addition Britany was very pleasant and friendly and called me darlin. very sweet. Also their homemade pies and cates are delicious. Also I am not being paid or rewarded for this review. lol. Just thought since i have been going here for years that I at least owed them this. I am actually eating my leftovers from yesterday rn as I write this.

Why do I come here? I won't again. Terrible service again and again

Went in with some friends. One of them had never been there before. He loved the food and experience. This is one of my favorite places to relax and eat.

It was ok, the bathroom really needs scrubbed; The smell was awful in there. Food was fresh and good, compliments to the chef. But prices are high we could have went to a Buffet for the same price.

Ordered breakfast with a side of fruit. When I got my food the fruit was visibly molded so I returned it and asked for a substitution of toast and was told no. My last time visiting this establishment.

This was the 2nd time we ate there. The 1st time we ate off the lunch buffet. This time we ate their breakfast and the food portions were so much we couldn't eat all of our food. This place reminded me of a restaurant we had in the small town of less than 2000 I grew up in that was similar to your restaurant that was just as good. We were glad to reminisce and talk about our memories. We found our permanent family restaurant to eat at. The food is the exceptionally delicious and the service is excellent!
