Very much enjoyed our visit this morning. Good coffee and great atmosphere! Don’t let the Spa sign throw you off. That coffee is in the front of the shop. Prices super reasonable.

It’s rare these days to step into a place that immediately feels like more than a coffee shop — but that’s exactly what we found here. From the moment my wife and I walked in, there was this undeniable sense that someone had poured their heart and soul into creating not just good coffee, but a whole experience worth savoring.

Julie, the owner of the café, is extraordinary. Her passion shows in every detail — from the quality of the drinks to the way she goes above and beyond to make sure every customer leaves not just satisfied, but genuinely happy. My wife ordered a dirty chai, and let me just say: it wasn’t your average drink. It was layered, deep, and alive with flavor — like it carried its own little story in each sip. Then came my choice: a blend of white chocolate, vanilla, and hazelnut. I honestly don’t have words to do it justice — smooth, creamy, indulgent, and perfectly balanced. It was like a dream poured into a cup.

And then — the food. We tried the homemade pimento cheese sandwich, and I can say without hesitation it’s the best I’ve ever had. Creamy, savory, and perfectly balanced, it was so good that we ordered two more to take on the road. By the time we got home, we were wishing we had grabbed two more again. That kind of flavor stays with you.

But the story doesn’t end with the café. Kathy, the owner of the shop, has created something truly unique — a space that brings together beauty, restoration, and comfort all under one roof. It’s almost like stepping into a hidden gem where luxury and warmth meet — a place where you could sip something extraordinary, get a massage, have your hair or nails done, and still feel completely at home. Think “down-to-earth Four Seasons” — classy without being intimidating, welcoming without losing that touch of refinement.

Together, Julie’s café and Kathy’s shop form something special — a perfect example of what happens when people pour their heart, vision, and care into their work. This is the kind of place that reminds you why locally owned businesses matter. You can taste and feel the difference.

If you’re reading this and wondering whether it’s worth a visit, trust me: don’t wait. Come see for yourself. You’ll leave smiling, just like we did.

Golden grounds is some of the best coffee hands down in Springfield. Julie and Jeremy do a wonderful job and I have seriously tried every coffee shop here! The iced/hot caramel macchiato is my favorite and this place can NOT be beat! You can create anything you like here. They also have AMAZING chicken salad! I challenge everyone to give it a try! 💕☕️🪴

Loved the Iced Chai and will be back for the Banana Split Frappe! Also tried the Carrot Cake cupcake and it was delicious. They’ve got kid friendly drinks and were able to accommodate different milk preferences.

I love dropping in once a week to grab a latte during my lunchtime walk. The folks running it are so nice, plus the coffee is fresh & delicious! I’m looking forward to trying their lunch offerings, too!

Yummy sandwiches, very good lattes, great location, can have a latte or tea as you have a manicure, pedicure or hair styled and after your massage or facial.
