My family went here to celebrate my college graduation on a not very busy Friday. My grandmother ordered gluten free and they didn’t get any of her food out until everyone was already done eating practically. Then (we had to ask for it), but they gave us a lowsey 10% after having horrendous service. Could be a back of house issue, but multiple times the chef at our table had to remind our server, until he finally had a manager handle it. By that time most everyone was done eating. What a shame, because the food was great, but the restaurant obviously doesn’t care about customer service.

I got there at 7 on a Saturday and it was understandably busy to start... our server Sam was not just visibly stressed, but audibly so, she was complaining about how busy it was from the start. To get in quick we sat in the dining room, not the hibachi, and it showed in how we were treated. 10 minutes to take our drink order, 15 to get us silverware (then brought us the cheap thin ones not the nice ones that the hibachi tables get), then 20 minutes to get our drinks. I think you see how this is going. After about 35 minutes she finally brought us our sushi but no dish for soy sauce of chopsticks. When we got our salad it was drowned in dressing to the point there was a pool left when the salad was gone. I would love to say how the miso soup was but apparently (she said) they were out (but somehow the people before and after us got some). Our server never came to see how our food was or if we need anything. The food was decent, I expected better for the price, but my opinion may be skewed by the overall poor experience. I asked if we were going to get any discount for the missing miso and they said they could do a dollar because its complimentary 🤣🤣 (like we aren't paying for it). I expected something nice and they did NOT deliver.

Drove from the Lake of the Ozarks for my girlfriend's 29th birthday, alongside some of both of our families, as well as a one year old; David and staff were very cordial and accommodating to our needs! Sang Happy Birthday in perfect Japanese. Thank you for making a very special evening for us all! :)

Food was great. The chef would have been in the back though for all he cared. No showmanship, no conversation, no onion volcano, no fried rice heart, no egg spinning. He just cooked the food. Bit of a let down for a hibachi place. Next time Ill just order out instead of waiting at a crowded table so long for no reason.

We went for our nieces birthday dinner and the server Baron was amazing and the chefs were as well. The rest of the staff gave pretty crappy service. If you are going to charge for the birthday song and dessert, you should let people know. Especially when the song was so poorly done they asked for the video my sister took for training purposes. The manager on duty seemed like she could care less about anything but getting people out the door and didnt care to listen to our complaints. We had reservations for 5:45 and they didnt even start cooking until after 7:00pm. So the rest of her birthday activities has to be canceled. This was a very poor experience for a child's birthday dinner.

Good Citizen

4 Stars because their food is delicious. However, I came in to pick up an order. I stood there for 12 minutes. Nobody greeted me. I had to ask if my order was ready. It was when I arrived. Then my order didn't have everything that I ordered. So in short... excellent food, but not so good customer service. GOOD NEWS is that you can easily improve on that. Please greet your guests. I'll definitely be back. Happy Holidays!

Took over 2 hours for dinner. Service was horrible and they charged us a 20% large party tip when we were not. Go somewhere else.
