Food is usually very good, still was, but I found a staple in my closed container of fried rice. It was a pickup order so my first thought was that it fell out of the receipt stapled to the bag, but the container was completely sealed with a lid. I almost swallowed the staple, but decided to spit it out because I felt something hard. Scary experience that could’ve cause serious damage!

One of the best hibachi places I’ve ever been to! We live out of town and will plan to come to Springfield just for Hinode, delicious food and usually terrific service!

I love it, it always tastes amazing and people that work there are always so kinda and willing to make small talk and I almost always get the same server but he's always been the best. I 100% recommend eating here. If I had more money I'd be there more often.

I have always loved hinode! I have been going here for years. It’s one of my favorite places to eat. I was a little bummed out tonight as I received my ticket that me and my family was charged $2 each for removing the vegetables from our rice. I have picky kids and a picky husband who refuses to eat vegetables as well. Also, my kids don’t eat that much so I told them they could share a plate (my kids are 3 and 5) I was surprised to find out they charged me $5 extra to SHARE. Like what? Why? It’s not like they gave my kids extra food or anything for sharing?? I was highly upset that I paid $12 in ridiculous charges that made absolutely no sense. I thought the point of going out to eat was to accommodate your customers needs but what is with only allowing accommodations at an extra cost…. That’s just wrong and honesty makes me not want to come back which really upsets me because I love the food, but oh well. If you have picky eaters be aware they will overcharge you for TAKING things out. Insane right?

I have had their main rolls, and they are incredible! The noodles are very cheap for their quality, taste, and size! I especially like the Wowweewee roll the most! (Idk if thats how you spell it lol)

The food is amazing, so I would recommend it to others. However, switch to Coca-Cola products instead of Pepsi, or I’m not too sure I’ll be back! If I remember correctly, you all had Coca-Cola in years past, right? Why the change? Not a good idea.

Our server Rebecca at Hinode was smoother than wasabi on a sushi roll- fast, friendly, & fun. The chef Efren? A culinary ninja! I’m still dreaming about that hibachi! If you leave there hungry, that’s on you! 🍣 🍚
