Found this place while on a road trip with my husband and our two pups. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming that we made sure to stop by on our return trip. We made fast friends with the beertenders and locals.

HFB is my favorite place I visited while we were in Springfield. My wife and I came here to have a few beers and hang out after a day of working. I had a delicious beer but it didn't jive well with my bbq wings I had just ordered. So, I walked up to the bar and told them I really enjoyed it, but I was stupid and ordered BBQ wings and the flavors don't go well so i'd just like to buy a new one.
They gave me a new beer and told me it was on the house, because they wanted me to enjoy it! We ended up buy some merch to show our appreciation. Thanks for making our trip special.

I was in Springfield MO last week for an event and 2 friends and I found this little micro-brewery about a 1/2 mile from out hotel. Great beer, friendly service and great indoor/outdoor space! I tried the Poblano Ale and enjoyed the flavor of the poblanos balance with the beer, I also had their cream ale, and it was tasty as well. Some cream ales are overly sweet, or over vanilla tasting, this again, had great balance. If you are near the Springfield Convention Center area, find this great little spot and enjoy a beer!

Caught this brewery at the end of hot Monday in June. Good vibe and pleasant setting. Food truck with decent sandwiches. I had downtown DIPA. Not a lot of character but very quenching.

Nice relaxing atmosphere. I liked the food truck concept. It was Filipino food truck. Very good .Something different. Love that is is owned and run by women. Really nice staff. Had DJ playing good music.
