Houlihan's Restaurant

There were not may tables filled when we got there so I was suprised that when my food came out it was cold. The room was cold and we had to eat with our coats on- did ask the manager to turn up the heat but didn't happen. Service was very good.

Food was great! Nice that it was connected to hotel, very convenient! Bar drinks were not consistent! First one was great, second of the same was just ok.

Caleb was an excellent server! He was extremely attentive and my drinks and food were served promptly. Since I am cutting down on carbs, he was able to speak to the chef about getting broccoli in place of pasta with the chicken piccata. It was delicious.

The waiter was excellent. Kept our drinks full. He kept checking back. It took over an hour to get our food. The soup was warm at best. My pasta wasn't cooked enough. The salmon portion was tiny. Way over priced. The restaurant wasn't even busy. There were lots of empty tables, so we weren't sure why it took so long to get our food.

We eat here regularly and while the service is slow, the food is always great. Today however, my husband had salmon and the crab cake sandwich thing. I don’t know which made him sick but he had been in the bathroom puking his guts out for the last hour and he sounds like he’s dying in there. We will NOT be back for a while which is sad bc it is one of my favorite places to eat.

Had a Landry's birthday gift card. Went to Landry's website and searched for local restaurants and found this one. Apparently they aren't affiliated with Landry's and wouldn't accept the gift card.

Definitely the best north side restaurant. One of the better in Springfield. Food was good, nothing amazing yet. Service was ok.

We enjoyed evening drinks and soup last night and it was delicious. I tried the espresso martini and a cosmopolitan and both were delicious.
I tried both the French onion soup and the potato soup and both were delicious. Probably one of the best French onion soups I’ve ever had. (Compliments to who ever made my soup the late evening of September 27th.)

Our bartender was Deidryck he was such a delight and attentive to any of our needs. Great experience at Houlihan’s.
