We got lucky and found a parking place right across the street. We were seated immediately and our server Josh was very attentive and helpful. The two couples ordered the same thing. We shared Caesar salads and the Seafood Pasta. Both were absolutely delicious. The salads Caesar dressing was obviously made from scratch rather than poured out of a bottle and the taste was excellent. The pasta dish was rigatoni and had an abundance of shrimp, bay scallops, and chopped clams in it with a very tasty lobster sauce. Overall a great experience!
Enjoyable experience. We haven’t been to Nonna’s in years. We just don’t go downtown anymore. There were several waiting when we got there but everyone was seated quickly. Daniel was our waiter and he did an excellent job. I observed he not only waited several tables but was the only one seating people but bussing tables as well. Even though busy, our food came out quickly, was hot and very good.
We love Nona's. However haven't been there in a bit. I should have looked up the menu online before coming. The menu has changed quite a bit. Not really a great menu. There isn't any veal or beef or read meat on the menu other than in their meatballs and sauces. Its just very weird for an Italian menu. Most people searching out real Italian food are like myself and not realy looking to eat chicken. Lots of chicken entrees on this menu. Not neccesarily good to abandon the old menu all at once. Maybe at least keep one pork or beef item on the menu? Seafood options were ok...but also not great. Just a little weird. I will definitely try it again...however I will look at menu before you decide to go.

we came here after a comedy show and walked right in, service was good, even though the waiter forgot what we ordered and had to come back later and ask. Their seafood pasta, and Ragu was absolutely Tops and the bread service was super tasty as well. Have a great selection of bar items and Italian beer. Don’t sleep on the Italian margarita!
We arrived before the 7:00 PM rush and were immediately seated. We ordered our drinks and after the drinks arrived, we ordered an appetizer and main course. The appetizer came within 5 minutes, and immediately after, our dinner. The food was very good, but we never saw our server again. I wanted another glass of wine and was going to order a dessert item to take home. After 15 minutes of waiting, I gave up and went to the cashier and asked for our bill. THEN we saw our server. Look, the food is very good, and maybe we were forgotten. Whatever the reason, Nona's will never see us again.
Place was nice, a little crowded, food was good. I had a salad, my friend had a soup and a piece of banana cake, I had a tiny taste but it was amazing. Our server was nice too.
me and my partner ate here and it's truly one of our favorite places in town to eat. we always leave wanting to come back for more. recommend this place to anyone!
I ordered a $40.00 of wine and when the server returned he brought 2 glass with wine in them and a bottle. The wine not that great. Our meal was much more than we could eat and in fact we boxed up, and later tossed after not felling that great later in the day, both of us.
It’s been a few years, but we used to eat here regularly before my kids grew up and moved away. If not for the nostalgia I would have given a lower rating. Our pasta was under cooked and the chicken over cooked. The Marsala sauce is easily defeated by Olive Garden. The redeeming dish was the Caesar salad. Our waiter Jacob could not muster up enough gumption to fake a cordial attitude. Box wine at $8 per poor. I have much better ideas on how to feed 3 people for $85. Adios old friend.

We stopped by today for lunch! Our server was fantastic! She was so attentive and friendly! The subs and crab cakes were delicious! The banana cake was phenomenal! Loved all the cross country and track pictures! Brought back memories of my High School years! We will definitely be back!!
Atmosphere & service superb & I've been to Nonna's many times over the years. I wish they kept parking next door to Nonna's. Some dishes are excellent, & several mediocre. Best are 2 dishes using marsala sauce, Seafood Pasta, & Eggplant Parmesan. DON'T recommend dishes with Fettuccini. It was overcooked, gummy & tough. While Tomato Basil soup had fantastic flavor, it was so thick it was like paste.
Very pleasant atmosphere, food was fantastic! We marked ❤️ this restaurant so when can return and enjoy another dish! We recommend this place to everyone visiting Springfield, mo
Excellent service, wonderful atmosphere, scrumptious food and delicious drinks. Don’t miss this gem in downtown Springfield! Try the Pasta Sacchetti-you won’t be disappointed
We ate here on a weekday lunch date and I thought it was a great value. They had a special lunch menu where some of the pasta dishes included bread, a salad, the entree and the drink - all for around $10. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and my wife ordered the pasta with pesto. Our server did a great job keeping our drinks full and was pleasant throughout the meal. My only issue is parking. We had to park about a block away but I guess that is what you expect in a downtown setting. We have eaten here before and will return in the future.
