I got 2 pattys, the jerk chicken and curry chicken. Neither had hardly any chicken. The dough was good. My brother got the bbq jerk chicken meal and it was delicious.

I routinely stop in at the downtown JPCo. I am greeted with a smile and friendly small talk, everytime. Anytime I can feast on spinach and cheese handpies, I'm a happy camper!

Food was really good and came out quickly. I had the curry chicken and beef patty. I wanted to try jerk chicken but it was a bbq jerk sauce. I prefer jerk chiken without the bbq sauce or on the side. In all great experience and very authentic Jamaican food.

We ate lunch at the downtown location of Jamaican Patty Co on September 28, 2024. The food was incredible as it always has been at the other location or from their previous food truck. It was fresh, flavorful and every member our family of four loved it.
The atmosphere is beautiful with beautiful furniture, ample seating, and it was so clean. We talked to two staff members there. One I believe is the owner. Both were polite and very helpful as we chose our food selections. We were shocked at the great price for lunch for four people with the lunch special at $9 a person!

Their plantain tart is absolutely to die for—crispy, sweet, and perfectly balanced, while the beef patty is bursting with authentic flavor and seasoned to perfection. I'm so thankful to have such a wonderful place in downtown Springfield. The patties are always a hit with everyone I share with. I cannot say enough good things about JPC and the family that owns it.
Really wanted to try this place out as a unique option for Springfield. I had heard that they had some nasty comments given based on the lies being spouted out by some on the campaign trail this season. The food itself is good, tasty, filling, not overly generous portions but good overall. They say the are closing "soon" for the night when we were here at 525 and they close at 7 and were sold out of dinners and only had a few patties left. Very disappointed in the customer service shown and the lack of enthusiasm by the staff. Why wouldn't they want to make sure people can try out their menu?

My husband is Jamaican and we are from HTX. Moving to Missouri, we were worried we wouldn’t find anything that tasted like home for him. Jamaican Patty Co is the one place in SGF where he can get food that cures the homesick feeling. Love love love. Couldn’t recommend enough. From the food to the customer service, everything is so good.
