We loved it! The rice and peas was wonderful. My friend had the jerk chicken. Very tasty. The lady who took care of us was warm and friendly. A little piece of Jamaica here in Springfield. Hope they expand their menu to Tammy bread soon. I'd be a regular!!!

Amazing, authentic food and the ONLY place I've found in the U.S.A. so far to have the Beef & Cheese Patties! I was so ecstatic to not only see them on the menu but, to also have the authentic taste and deliciousness that I remember. It's truly nostalgic and absolutely worth it... including the very filling and delicious curry goat! I'm from out of town but, anytime I'm back in town, I'll be back and placing a very special order! Curry chicken lunch hit the spot on a cold February afternoon. Spice level was just right, rice was moist, and veg balanced the meal. Friendly staff (owner I think) and quick to grab and go. Fast ~$9 lunches are getting hard to find. Support these people, SGF!

Absolutely fantastic! I'm from out of town and wanted to try something new. I did the combo special and had the spinach & cheese patty and a plantain tart. The woman at the counter was so kind and helpful. The music is nice and it's a perfect little place to enjoy some food in a warm and cozy spot. I wish I had a place like this back in my hometown. 10/10 experience I hope I get the chance to come again!

Do yourself a favor and have the curry chicken patty. It's a flaky puff pastry shell filled with curry spiced chicken. 😋 I often grab 'em on the run. So good.
